I am listing the players who’s stat line stood out, who people recommended, and players who either I watched live or was able to watch highlights from their specific game. Dylan has been a monster on the football field, for more than just this season as well. Last year he earned all league defensive player of the year after an outstanding season at the linebacker position. Dylan just recently received an offer from Pacific University, his 2nd Division 3 offer. During week 2 he had 6 tackles, 1 for loss, to go along with 2 sacks on the night and a pass broken up. Bigger schools should be looking at him and he could gather their attention if he has a big time senior year.
Chris Macon
Chris Macon
Chris is a phenomenal tackler, one of the best within the 2024 class. He has tremendous technique, wrapping up the ball carriers with ease and not letting them slip by him. He is strong, showing that off when he pushes blockers to the side to get through the line. He’s a stud on the field and is still getting better each week. He had a whopping 19 tackles on the night and also contributed a forced fumble.
Keagan caught my eye a couple times last season, during his sophomore season. He is quick to the ball, knows the game well, and has a very quick reaction time. He is relentless to the ball and does whatever it take to get to the ball carrier. He has improved his lateral movement since last season and during week 2 he collected 18 tackles, 2 for loss, on the night. Howard is a player who is going to keep making tremendous steps on the field.
Highlights
Julius is a top linebacker within the 2024 class and has been productive on the field for the last couple seasons. He is disruptive in the backfield, being able to blow through the offensive line. Leapai wraps up ball carriers in open field very well, better than the average linebacker. During week 2, he compiled 11 tackles, 3 for loss, and had a sack on the night.
Zamari Mitchell
Zamari Mitchell
Zamari is a fantastic athlete, playing running back on the offensive side of the football. Mitchell is a great run-blocker, being able to clog up the holes and wrap up the running back when they try to break through to the next level. He is quick to reading the offense and knows the game very well, reacting quickly and being a menace on defense. During week 2, he racked up 15 tackles, 1 sack, and 1 forced fumble.
