Where are they headed?
Prep Redzone has all the details below…
Justin Logan Justin Logan 6'3" | 210 lbs | LB Kell | 2024 State GA – Kell
One of the biggest breakout prospects in Cobb County this year, Logan saw his recruitment take off earlier this spring, and now, the tough, hard-hitting linebacker has made his commitment to Sam Pittman and the Arkansas Razorbacks. A smart, instinctive defender for the Kell Longhorns, Logan is a competitive, high-motor linebacker with a solid 6-foot-3 215-pound frame. The rising senior can fly to the ball-carrier and brings some versatility to the Kell defense. The Longhorns have plenty of D1 talent and Logan is one of the best. He made 60+ tackles last year as a junior and will be one of the top returning defenders in the region coming into the 2023 season. He’s physical enough to play down in the box as a middle linebacker, while having the length and natural ability to play outside and possibly make plays in coverage as he continues to develop there. It’s clear the Razorbacks are getting a good one in Logan.
Jayden Todd Jayden Todd 6'6" | 315 lbs | OL West Laurens | 2024 State GA – West Laurens
Todd is a fast-rising offensive line prospect from the small town of Dublin, and after earning an offer from Florida State just a few days ago, Todd didn’t waste any time, committing to play for the Seminoles early this week. Known as an “under the radar” lineman at 6-foot-6 315-pounds, Todd playing in a small town may have hurt his recruitment some, but after impressing the Florida State coaches in a camp on campus, he was able to earn an offer and the green light to jump on board. He has easy Power Five size with a very high ceiling. He’s big and physical, but he’s still raw. If he can continue to work hard and develop his craft, he could turn out to be one of the steals of Florida State’s class. A two-sport star who can crush a baseball. Todd brings a certain level of athleticism and has a chance to be a true dominant right tackle down the road if he develops the right way.
Korey Jordan – DL – Douglas County
A big-time interior defensive lineman who can swallow up the ball-carrier with ease, Jordan is a heavy 6-foot-2 290-pounder who consistently found his way into the backfield last year. He’s thick, has plenty of raw strength, and shows impressive quickness off the snap for someone his size. He has a good motor and uses his quick, strong hands to shed blocks in the trenches. He’s someone who demands a double-team. He creates pressure on the quarterback from the inside, collapsing a pocket they all need. He also closes running lanes in the run game, forcing backs who get creative to find room to run. Jordan made 64 tackles last year, a very respectable number for an interior defensive lineman. He’ll only get better, and this week he made his commitment to stay in the peach state and play for the Georgia Southern Eagles.
Taeo Todd Taeo Todd 5'9" | 175 lbs | QB Troup County | 2024 State GA – Troup County
A big-time dual-threat quarterback from West Georgia, Todd is an electric runner with a live arm. Todd is coming off an excellent junior season where he ran wild, taking off for 2,012 yards and 27 touchdowns on the ground. He was also a consistent passer, throwing for 2,454 yards and 29 touchdowns with just six INTs. He did a little bit of everything at the quarterback spot for Troup County, and over the weekend he decided to play for Georgia Southern at the next level. He may not play quarterback in Statesboro, but wherever he’s lined up, he has the ability to make a big play. One of the top overall athletes and best runners in all of West Georgia, Todd put on a show all season long in 2022 and is bound for a gigantic senior season for the Tigers this fall. The talent is easy to see, and this is an major addition for Georgia Southern. Todd led his Troup County squad to an outstanding 12-2 record and will look to have them in contention for a state championship in his final season.
