An all around athlete, Jathan Hatch Jathan Hatch 6’1″ | 190 lbs | WR Biggersville | 2024 State MS could easily play a number of positions at the next level. Due to his length and speed, it is hard to not love his projection as a wide receiver. Hatch has great vision in the open field and can easily make defenders miss with a variety of moves. This is the type of player that can score from anywhere on the field in a number of ways. It is worth noting that he also stars on defense in the secondary as well. Hatch currently has no shortage of college options and is bound to continue to rise through the rankings as the 2023 season progresses.
A speedster out of Philadelphia, Dee Burnside Dee Burnside 6’1″ | 155 lbs | WR Philadelphia | 2024 State MS is a player that is bound to garner some college attention over the next few months. The 6’1″ athlete has exceptionally good speed and burst and has an extremely twitchy lower body. Burnside can use his ability to change direction to make huge plays in the open field. This is a guy that you can build an offense around do to his playmaking instincts. He can also bounce off contact and is tough to bring down. Excited to watch his senior campaign kick off soon.

At a massive 6’5″, Brewer Carruth Brewer Carruth 6’5″ | 190 lbs | WR Parklane Academy | 2024 State MS is one of the better possession style receivers in the MAIS this upcoming season. As far as his next level projection goes, Carruth may add some attention as a tight end prospect due to his stature. Carruth has good hands and is a guarantee to make some tough grabs over top of defenders. He has solid speed, but knows how to position himself to win on vertical routes. Watch for him to have another big year during his senior season.
With over 900 yards and 12 TDs last season, Kylon Magee Kylon Magee 5’10” | 155 lbs | WR Tylertown | 2024 State MS is a receiver to watch in the lower classifications this year. The speedy slot style wide out has some of the best after the catch ability of the new additions. This is a guy that you can build an entire screen game around due to his elusiveness. Magee is also great as a deep threat able to take the top off a defense and score from afar. With his documented 10.92 100m time and film, expect Magee to add some more college interest as the year progresses.
A long wideout who can play all across the formation, Shaden McCollum Shaden McCollum 6’2″ | 190 lbs | WR Pearl | 2024 State MS is a big time sleeper in 7A this upcoming season. McCollum is an impressive wide out who has good speed and burst, but takes pride in his route running. He gets in and out of breaks well and knows how to stack on top of his defender. McCollum has impressive hands and can make some tough contested grabs downfield. While he currently has no college offers, do not be surprised to see some of the local JuCos and more get involved during the upcoming season.
A 6’1″ playmaker out of Oxford, Xavier Lewis Xavier Lewis 6’1″ | 190 lbs | WR Oxford | 2024 State MS is a talented wide out who can contribute at both slot and outside receiver at the next level. Expecting some big numbers from him in his last remaining high school season.
