Earlier I took at look at the top quarterbacks who competed at the 2023 East Central camp. Here I take a look at the other top standouts who were the the East Central camp.

[player_tooltip player_id='285149' first='Karvon' last='Jefferson'] | LB | Lutheran North |
One of the top prospects in the state for the class of 2025, Jefferson continued to show why at camp. He's a heat seeking missile at linebacker that can also pass cover very well. Karvon can plug the middle, rush the pass and cover sideline-to-sideline. It's why he racked up 148 tackles as a sophomore. Look for another monster year and more D1 offers to follow his junior season.

Trey Bass | WR | Lutheran North |
Bass has shown the speed and athleticism of a big play receiver prospect since he was an 8th grader. He looks ready for a breakout year after the graduation of a trio of receivers for the Crusaders. Trey has really developed physically to go along with his outstanding receiving skills. He ran smooth routes using his speed and quickness to get open and make grabs. He's on the rise and a player to watch for a big season from.

[player_tooltip player_id='126242' first='Isaiah' last='Rubio'] | DL | Lutheran St. Charles |
The talented Rubio looks ready for a monster senior season both physically and with his play at the camp. Isaiah has one of the best motors you will find in a defensive lineman, and he spent a lot of time in opponents backfields. He's a skilled and physical defender who understands the game well and equally good against the run as well as being a pass rusher, which is what has colleges showing interest in him.

[player_tooltip player_id='922651' first='Carter' last='Briddell'] | OL | North Point |
The top offensive line prospect I saw at the camp was Briddell. The class of 2025 standout continues to elevate his play every time I see him. His skills are very good as both a pass and run blocker. He has good feet, is athletic and also a very physical offensive lineman who love the battle. Carter is versatile enough to play every position along the line and should get the recognition he deserves from colleges following his junior season.

Xavier Goodall | WR | Ft. Zumwalt East |
Goodall is a tremendous and versatile playmaker for the Lions. Goodall does it all on offense and defense, but excels in the slot receiver position with his ability to both catch and run the ball on offense. He could even play QB if needed. He has good speed and quickness, but is also strong, which helps him make yards after contact and his ability to run after the catch is a big asset. Xavier is a good to playmaker for his team wherever they need him on the field.

Trent Livingston | RB/DB | Parkway West |
Livingston definitely caught my attention with his play on both sides of the ball. Trent stood out with his drive and determination in every play I saw. He played at a different level and his speed and quickness were instantly noticeable when he ran the ball and on defense. He is not only a weapon running the ball but also as a receiver. He had over 1,100 yards on offense rushing and receiving along with 6 interceptions on defense. He looks to be a leader on the team and will be a main weapon for the Longhorns again in 2023.

Terry Quarles | LB | Gateway STEM |
This physical and athletic defender has good size at 6'2" 200. This physical middle linebacker made numerous plays and showed a great ability to run sideline to sideline, as well as get up field to rush the QB or make plays against the run for no yardage. Terry also did a nice job in pass coverage and does a good job of identifying and making plays overall. It's easy tp see why he had 120 tackles, 4 fumble recoveries and a pick as a junior. College coaches should pay close attention to him during his upcoming season.

Trent Shelton | WR/S | Gateway STEM |
Another surprise at the camp was the play of the 6'2" Shelton who looked impressive on both sides of the ball. Trent is a smooth athlete who runs very well and can cover a lot of ground as a receiver or from his safety position. He has good hands and showed them as a receiver and with a pick I saw on the day. He is another under the radar prospect for Gateway that needs to get a good look from colleges. He looks to have the physical tools and athleticism to play on the next level.

Jordan Matlock | RB/DB | Orchard Farm |
Matlock is a tough, physical playmaker on offense and defense for the Eagles. He really stood out among the top players I watched at the camp. He's a good athlete and has the ability to play multiple positions. He's a tough, physical runner who has the speed to break it for big plays. The same thing applies when he is on defense.

Earlier I took at look at the top quarterbacks who competed at the 2023 East Central camp. Here I take a look at the other top standouts who were the the East Central camp.
