Today we will be taking a look at the Top Scorers in the CCL Orange Division. These teams include St. Laurence, De La Salle, Nazareth Academy, and Benet Academy.
St. Laurence: [player_tooltip player_id="20362" first="Darius" last="Wilson"] - Wilson plays QB, he has a nice touch on the deep ball, puts the ball in the WR basket, and has solid footwork on his dropback. Wilson also runs the read-option where he gets it done with his legs topped with his quick acceleration cause him to be a dual-threat QB and one that defenses have to seriously gameplan against. He evades pocket pressure and as a last resort will pull the ball down to run for the first down. Hudl: https://www.hudl.com/profile/9672621 Jimmy Moore - Moore plays T, he's solid at down blocking, keeps his feet moving, and holds his own in pass pro. Moore blocks downfield where he gets to the second level and is aggressive at the point of attack. He creates running lanes with this aggressiveness and plays through the whistle. Moore is a solid overall T that gets it done both in run blocking and in pass pro. Hudl: https://www.hudl.com/profile/9559285 De La Salle: Benjamin Rodriguez - Rodriguez plays QB, he has a quick dropback which helps him get the ball out fast, evades pocket pressure, and has a solid touch on the deep ball. Rodriguez runs the read-option showcasing his mobility, as a last resort he will pull the ball down to scramble for the first down and can throw on the run.
