51.[player_tooltip player_id='754594' first='Jack' last='Foley'] 6-4 175 WR Mt View

Foley's 20+ receptions for close to 300 yards and 3 TDs as a sophomore were just a glimpse of what he could do moving forward. He will be tough to stop in the IMC.

52.[player_tooltip player_id='407880' first='Noah' last='Scharer'] 6-1 200 LB South Salem

One of the best baseball players in Oregon earned all-conference honors at LB in 2022. If he pursued football he could be one of the best defenders in the state.

53.[player_tooltip player_id='407437' first='Tanner' last='Starbuck'] 5-10 170 DB Stayton

Starbuck will likely be a conference & state POY candidate at the 4A level in the coming seasons. He went for 400+ yards and 5 TDs offensively but really excelled on D, making 72 total tackles with 4 INTs as a sophomore.

54.[player_tooltip player_id='285873' first='Kellen' last='Hicks'] 6-0 170 S Mountainside

Look for Hicks to be a 1st team all Metro Safety and potentially be influential on the offensive side of the ball as well. He came up clutch defensively on multiple occasions last year, with a key INT to the house against Lake O.

55.[player_tooltip player_id='291819' first='Tyler' last='Newbury'] 6-1 180 ATH Central Catholic

One of the most versatile 25's In Oregon. Newbury had a phenomenal sophomore year and could jump up this list quick, after going for 4 TDs with 40+ tackles defensively.

56.[player_tooltip player_id='410655' first='Colin' last='Fratzke'] 6-4 240 DE Lakeridge

Fratzke has had an impressive off season, putting on some legit size. One of the state's top coaches Spencer Phillips speaks highly of him, as he will likely start at DE and play some tight end.

57.[player_tooltip player_id='511860' first='Max' last='Nowlin'] 6-4 185 QB Scappoose

What Nowlin did as a sophomore leader at QB last season speaks to his potential. He was clutch in helping the Indians to the state semi's during the playoffs, throwing for over 1900 yards and 22 TDs/11 INTs on the year.

58.[player_tooltip player_id='407172' first='Jackson' last='Farris'] 6-2 225 OLB/RB Valley Catholic

The big man will once again be key for a much-improved Valiants group with playoff potential. Farris earned 1st team all-league honors as a freshman. Something incredibly rare regardless of the classification level.

59.[player_tooltip player_id='893365' first='Jackson' last='Bell'] 6-1 170 QB Sherwood

All things considered Bell was one of the most impressive QBs I saw all off season. He throws a great ball as the Bowmen will be in good shape whenever his turn comes.

60.[player_tooltip player_id='274319' first='Luke' last='Baker'] 5-11 170 QB Clackamas

This is a big get for Clack, with Baker making the transfer back to his home school from Central Catholic. He still has a lot to prove but he has looked the part thus far.

61.[player_tooltip player_id='406770' first='Trevin' last='Laird'] 6-2 185 WR Tigard

Laird is a big, good-looking athlete, who should get his turn this season. The Tigers graduated a bunch of talented dudes from last year as he will have a chance to prove himself in the brutally tough TRL.

62.[player_tooltip player_id='511878' first='D'Marieon' last='Gates'] 5-7 150 ATH Central Catholic

The 1st team all PIL athlete made the move from Jeff after an outstanding sophomore season. Look for Coach Pyne to use him in space and immediately have him in the mix among the top players in the Mt Hood.

63.[player_tooltip player_id='406769' first='Kane' last='Sullivan'] 6-2 1856 QB McMinnville

Sullivan looked the part over the off season after an impressive sophomore year, where he passed for 12 TDs/3 INTs while averaging 6+ yards per carry. The Grizzlies have athletes and a real shot to compete in the Pacific.

64.[player_tooltip player_id='407255' first='Brigham' last='Davis'] 5-10 160 DB Lakeridge

A brutal injury to Davis was unfortunate missing all of last season. He could project as one of the top skill kids in the state for his class if healthy.

65.[player_tooltip player_id='412219' first='Cade' last='Vandiver'] 6-0 190 LB West Salem

As noted, Cade is the son of former Ducks LB Chris VanDiver. He had a quiet sophomore year, with the Titans having a tough injury plagued season, and finishing an extremely uncharacteristic 1-8. Look for him to come back in a big way.

66.[player_tooltip player_id='754668' first='Antonio' last='Aguilar'] 6-3 220 DL Milwaukie

The all-state D lineman had one of the better seasons of any sophomore in the state. The Mustangs are far from a traditional power, but Aguilar was outstanding.

67.[player_tooltip player_id='511863' first='Dontrell' last='Betts'] 5-7 185 RB Roosevelt

Betts had a breakout season earning 1st team all-league honors as a sophomore. He has the luxury of playing for head coach Ryan McCants who did well as a RB at Oregon State himself.

68.[player_tooltip player_id='904466' first='Damon' last='Bossy'] 6-1 255 DE South Salem

One of the state's breakout players this off season after starting as a sophomore. Bossy has reportedly been throwing people around like his name was [player_tooltip player_id='152347' first='Hatimu' last='Letisi'].

69.[player_tooltip player_id='511861' first='Sawyer' last='Teeney'] 5-11 175 QB Silverton

Teeney has the potential of making a big jump up the rankings board. As a sophomore he hit on 64% of his passes, throwing 16 TDs/4 INTs. If the Foxes make a playoff run it will be because of him.

70.[player_tooltip player_id='406757' first='Evan' last='Brenner'] 6-3 210 LB Central Catholic

I could see Brenner being one of Oregon's breakout players of the year. He's got great size and will be a part of one of the top teams on the west coast.

71.[player_tooltip player_id='285882' first='Miles' last='Ott'] 6-1 190 LB Tigard

Just an outstanding overall athlete. Ott can play some baseball and will be a big part of the future on the football field, with the Tigers featuring numerous young guys.

72.[player_tooltip player_id='511862' first='Jake' last='White'] 6-0 180 RB Seaside

White was impressive over the off season after going for 1000 yards and 20 TDs as a sophomore. Some may remember the name Alex Teubner who was a standout for Boise St last year and a graduate of Seaside. You just never know from a recruiting standpoint.

73.[player_tooltip player_id='613489' first='Cameron' last='Nix'] 6-1 200 LB North Medford

Watch the film and you see Nix consistently in the right place. He had an unreal sophomore season, making 77 total tackles, with 18 tackles for loss, and 2 sacks.

74.[player_tooltip player_id='545637' first='Andrew' last='(Drew) Hall'] 6-3 175 WR/S Cascade Christian

The Oregon 3A POY in hoops is just a super talented overall athlete, impressing on both sides of the football as a sophomore. He will rank as one of the top receivers in the state, while excelling on D and finishing the season with 36 tackles and 5 INTs.

75.[player_tooltip player_id='407440' first='Jyce' last='Jones'] 6-0 185 ATH Sheldon

Expect a big year out of Jyce as he should be one of the primary weapons on the perimeter. He had to wait his turn, which he did, with the Irish graduating a host of talented kids.
