Join us this summer as we do full scale film breakdowns for the top 100 ranked players in the state of Mississippi. We continue today with numbers 60-56.

60. [player_tooltip player_id='343638' first='Cobey' last='Craft'] - Taylorsville

What does the tape say?

Craft is a higher cut framed skill position player who looks to possess room to add some weight. Effective runner both between and outside the tackles. Real speed that shows some explosive ability to run away from tacklers. Good footwork that best shows in cuts, which are sharp. Runs with strength for his size and controls his body well. Not dynamic from an overall athleticism standpoint, but gets the job done with skill. Under valued.

Position projection: Running Back

59. [player_tooltip player_id='346398' first='Kai' last='McClendon'] - Gulfport

What does the tape say?

A lack of height is the only thing slowing McClendon down at this point. True nose guard projection with potential to play anywhere in the middle of the line. Violent at the point of attack with good explosion off the snap in the middle of the line and disruptive hands in the process. Run stuffer that has to be accounted for. McClendon plays with a motor which is obvious on film. Shows some film on the offensive line as well which is intriguing.

Position projection: Nose Tackle

58. [player_tooltip player_id='344087' first='JT' last='Beasley'] - Saltillo

What does the tape say?

Boundary wide receiver build with real length. Not a burner from a speed perspective, but moves well and shows shiftiness. Good jumping ability which combines with height to make him a true redzone/jump ball threat. Decent route runner with real opportunity to grow his game in that aspect. Twitchy off of the snap which allows wins in one on one coverage. Definite value given size and body control. Raw potential.

Position projection: Wide Receiver

57. [player_tooltip player_id='346421' first='Jay' last='Stevenson'] - Starkville

What does the tape say?

Big, long makeup for the running back position. North/South downhill power style runner. Rather run thru you than past you style. Runs strong and with some wiggle that has to be accounted for. Quick, but runs with some tightness with choppy steps for his size. Arm tackles don't bring him down. Can he continue to play running back at the next level or is he better suited for a move to defense?

Position projection: Linebacker

56. [player_tooltip player_id='617239' first='Jaylen' last='Bester'] - Greenville Christian

What does the tape say?

Bester is a little bit undersized for the QB position but not overly concerning. Real athleticism immediately shows on tape. Ability to move the pocket, scramble and escape trouble to extend plays is impressive. As a thrower the mechanics are a bit raw but potential is definitely present. Throwing motion is a bit short but not something that can't be adjusted. Bester plays with poise. Accurate and on time. Strong and only going to get stronger. Runs with ease and make you miss ability. True dual threat.

Position projection: Quarterback
