Key Returning Saline Hornets Players

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I have got the privilege of watching <strong>Saline</strong> football over the years. There are a well coached program that is always successful. They have many great players returning this upcoming year and I am happy to talk about them. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='212359' first='Isaiah' last='Harris']- DE/TE- <a href="http://www.hudl.com/video/3/13094806/63682fc39a9b6e04ec0c1543">Hudl</a></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Harris is very athletic and can make tackles out in open space. Harris does a good job of setting the edge and getting off of blocks quickly to make tackles. Harris shows good burst and can close in on quarterbacks quickly. I like that he can time up blitzes so he can shoot gaps untouched. Harris has good overall play strength and is very strong at the point of attack. He does a good job of holding his ground and not letting opposing players push him back. Harris heads into only his junior year in 2023 and will be asked to be a standout defensively once again. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='607341' first='Caid' last='Fox']- WR- <a href="http://www.hudl.com/v/2JmZSJ">Hudl</a></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Fox is a guy who shows up in big-time games. He had an excellent game in the narrow loss to Belleville in the 2nd round of the playoffs. Fox has great competitive toughness and is always working to get open. He has good hands and does not drop many passes. He has very good change of direction and it helps him make people miss after the catch. It was fun to watch <strong>Saline</strong> run screens to him as he could really get up field and pick up yardage. He is a clean route runner who does not have any much wasted movements to his routes. He does a great job of getting open down field and especially on wheel routes. I like Fox's game and look forward to watching him this year. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='563429' first='James' last='Rush']- CB/WR- <a href="http://www.hudl.com/v/2Jv9iy">Hudl</a></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Rush has very good acceleration and can pick up 10 yards on a carry before the other team realizes it. Rush made a big impact for <strong>Saline</strong> in 2022 as only a freshman. I like how he does not hesitate to fly up and make tackles from the cornerback position. Rush has good long speed and there are not many players that can run by him when he is playing off man coverage. Rush has good instincts and can pick up loose balls and run them back for touchdowns. Rush is a really good all around football player who I believe will continue to add size and be an impact player for <strong>Saline</strong> in 2023. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='602427' first='Michael' last='Re']der- DT- <a href="http://www.hudl.com/video/3/13461305/636a9d22a022fb0d8428f424">Hudl</a></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Reder is strong at the point of attack and can get off blocks well. He is a good wrap up tackler as well. Reder is a good athlete and I love how he plays with good leverage to utilize his size and strength fully. Reder shows good pursuit and has pass rushing ability as well. Reder playing with good leverage helps him to hold his ground against double teams. Reder's play was crucial to <strong>Saline's</strong> defensive line developing into a strong cohesive unit. Reder heads into only his junior year in 2023 and will be a force inside once again. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
