The Top Dog for Greenbrier West this season has been senior QB/ATH Cole Vandall Cole Vandall 6'2" | 190 lbs | ATH Greenbrier West | 2024 State WV who has his Cavaliers undefeated and in the state championship game for the first time since 2013. Vandall has really developed as a passer this season and has set school records this year. Hopefully, he’ll be fully healthy for this huge matchup after getting banged up in the semifinal game and if so keep an eye on him. In three playoff games, Vandall has thrown for 401 yards and 4 touchdowns while rushing for 288 yards and another score. He’s primed for a true breakout game if he can get back to full-strength and the Cavaliers are going to need every ounce they can get from Vandall if they want to beat a very good Williamstown team. As good as he’s been at quarterback this season, I think his play on the defensive side of the ball is just as impressive, and that’s where he may play at the next level as an LB/Edge type of player.

Cole Vandall Cole Vandall 6'2" | 190 lbs | ATH Greenbrier West | 2024 State WV is a do-it-all athlete for the Greenbrier West Cavaliers that can line up all over the field on both sides of the ball. Vandall will be the starting quarterback this season for the Cavaliers and also saw time there last season. He earned Class A Second Team All-State as a defensive lineman a year ago as a junior and was one of their key pieces on defense that only allowed 57 points during the regular season in 2022. Vandall also saw time at running back and could likely play tight end or linebacker at the next level as well. I got to see him in person this summer at Bethany College’s prospect camp and he’s an impressive athlete. Vandall was also the Class A 215-pound state wrestling champion and just an overall great athlete. Vandall picked up an offer from Bethany after their camp and should be one of Class A’s premier players this season.
