Tuatga is a force to be reckoned with for the Aviators. His long arms help him knock down passes at the line of scrimmage. Tuatga’s first-step quickness is remarkable, and he often beats offensive linemen out of their stances. He makes his presence felt all game long by making plays against both the run and pass. If left unblocked while an offense tries to run in the opposite direction of him, Tuatga is fast enough to make the tackle. He should be in for a monster senior season.

Puefua’s playing strength is outstanding. He explodes off the snap and gets inside offensive linemen’s chests to stand them up and clog gaps. Puefua has quick hands and feet he uses to create pressure. His rip move is strong, and his quick spin move can leave offensive linemen in their tracks. Puefua also has an impressive bull rush he uses to drive offensive linemen back into the quarterback’s lap. He can also take on double teams and free up his teammates to make plays.

Fonua’s versatility is impressive. He can play inside or out as both a run defender and a pass rusher. Fonua does an excellent job shifting through the chaos that ensues on each play in the front seven to find running backs. He can rush from a two or three-point stance. Fonua does an excellent job setting the edge and can toss offensive linemen aside before making tackles in the backfield. He does a good job making tackles in space and has good closing speed when trying to beat running back to the outside.

Nelson does a great job converting speed to power. His elite bend helps him consistently get around offensive linemen. Nelson does a good job recognizing when an offensive tackle is oversetting and can quickly shoot through inside gaps. He never stops before the whistle and has a motor that won’t quit when it comes to chasing quarterbacks. Nelson’s impressive wingspan allows him to long-arm offensive linemen and grab quarterbacks before wrestling them to the ground.
