This Summer has been hot and will only get hotter in the great state of Texas. Coming out of the Spring session training the heat was already showing its ugly nature. However, there were players who stood up and looked right back at the heat and balled out like their hair was on fire. Let's look at a few of these players from the class of 25' who brought the heat during the Spring.

Braisean Brown I MLB/EDGE/ATH I 6'0 240 I Willis, Texas

The first 25' sleeper on the list coming out of spring ball is Brai'Shawne Brown out of Willis, Texas. Brown is actually a middle linebacker at 6'0 240 who will use his power and burst off of the edge in the upcoming season for Coach Trent Miller and the Willis Wildkats. It has been a journey for Brown who started his freshman campaign as a bruising running back and linebacker breaking havoc on both sides of the ball. However, as his body continued to mature along with his skill set, he made the move from running the ball to blowing up ball carriers and jarring the ball loose with jaw-dropping collisions in the spring. Brown was recently a standout at the University of Texas Elite camp where he proved to be unblockable. whether it was the bull rush, cross-directional pivots followed by deep bending pursuits, or the occasional speed spin-to-rip technique; Brai'Shawne Brown earned the title Mr. Brown by camp's conclusion. Look for his name to be mentioned amongst the top play-making edges for his class in the upcoming months. Remember that you heard it here first...

Kenneth Harris Jr I OL I 6'3 300 I Dallas, Texas

Kenneth Harris Jr is a man at the left tackle position and there are no quarrels about that notion coming out of the spring offseason regiment. Standing at a legit 6'3 and 300 pounds, some may say that he has grown an inch since the end of the spring semester. But vertical status is not all that has looked advanced. Harris has displayed even more burst and bend coming off the snap. His initial punch is second to none. he has shown an effort to speed up his feet even more under his base while engaging opposition and his finishes are downright disrespectful to unqualified defensive linemen. Harris is also an academic standout which shows on the field as well. He can play any position on the offensive line and could serve as a swing tackle against teams who want to have their stud rusher travel for matchup favorability. Kenneth Harris is a sleeper but not for long. Once I find a sleeper they always prove me right! Remember that you heard it here first...

Drameko Green I RB/SLOT I 6'0 190 I Conroe , Texas

Drameko Green was listed previously as a sleeper and now he is officially a Power 5 caliber running back! His latest offer amongst many has come from the new Big 12 conference rookie program; the University of Houston Cougars. Drameko "Chunky" Green is a 6'0 190 pound do it all offensive weapon who can pound it between the tackles, bend on a jet sweet at full speed, stop on a dime and dance, line up in the slot and execute the intermediate route tree, or block the pass rush. Either way, Chunky is going to eventually find his way from cloudy to clear! He is big play personified and does it with a nonchalant expression on his face. When you thought he was down in the spring he'd pop a move that made recruiters standing on the sidelines reach for their Ipads and engage their texting thumbs in a race that resembled old-school Nintendo battles with friends after school. This 25' playmaker is no longer a sleeper. The question is what he will do next in the Lone Star state for his junior season encore performance?

Tyler Seeger I TE I 6'6 220 I The Woodlands, Texas

Tyler Seeger is a 6'6 220 pound mega sleeper from the camp circuit. He has flown under the radar due to him playing mainly on the private school level but amazing outings during the TCU and other camps this summer have opened a great many eyes. He is a legit 6'6 without shoes and has rangy strides to cover ground in a hurry while climbing the cushion. The play that put him on the map was a 9-route vertical at TCU against press coverage with a catch-man technique. Seeger used his God-given length to jolt the defensive back into a compromised position while he executed his release. Because the defensive back was coached up and skilled, he knew how to respond and recover rather quickly. To no avail; while being pushed towards the left sideline, Seeger reached a long right arm over the defender's entire body and made a one-handed grab Andre Hopkins style! The defender and all in attendance were in disbelief while Tyler Seeger go up and walked off like he meant to do exactly what had just transpired. This could be interpreted as swag! Remember that you heard it here first......

Zach Allen I ATH I 6'1 172 I Conroe, Texas

Zach Allen is a do it all swiss army knife type of talent. He has grown 2 inches since the spring and it shows in his ranginess. He will be primarily a receiver this upcoming season but has shown flashes of dominance on both sides of the ball in 7v7 competition. He is a natural catcher of the ball and has a nose for disruption. His IQ is sound for both sides of the game and he supports it with a quiet nastiness when it comes to executing his job. You string an entire practice or game together of those qualities and you have yourself a legitimate player. With his continued gains in length and athleticism on both sides of the ball; this heady talent has no choice but to make onlookers in the fall ask the simple question; "Who is that kid and where did he come from?"
