had a nice game against Hedgesville on both sides of the ball as the Patriots looked for new faces to step up on offense this season. He had 3 receptions for 80 yards as a receiver and put together a strong performance on defense with 8 tackles, 2 PBUs, and an interception in the late stages of the game. Togans’ versatility for being able to play in the box and on the back end of the defense was on display for a complete performance in week two.

now finds himself as our top-ranked defensive back in his class. The scary thing is he’s yet to get close to his full potential as a player and can continue improving over the next two years. Togans will be a 3-year starter this season and will be transitioning to their Rover safety which looks like a more natural fit for him with being able to play closer to the line of scrimmage but can also play on the backend like he’s done the past two years. Togans is a good tackler in space and a physical downhill player.
We’re looking for him to prove our #1 DB ranking this season and to continue making strides in his development.

showed flashes of why we currently have him ranked as the #2 DB in the 2026 class at the Combine. He wasn’t able to display the strongest aspect of his game right now in defending the run with a camp setting without contact, but it was good to see him work more in coverage during 1-on-1s than what we could see on film. Togans will continue to make strides in that part of his development, but he has all of the tools to be able to do so.
As his body matures and further develops in the weight room, Togans will bolster the pass coverage side of his game and further realize the high ceiling we see in him.

. We’ve been high on Togans for a while now dating back to before his sophomore season began and has been consistent as the #2 defensive back in the class in our rankings. He’s another highly-ranked prospect that we’ll be expecting big things from and further prove the high regard we have for him. The two aspects of his game that we’ll be looking closely at as the questions we want him to answer at the combine are how well will he test to show his raw athletic ability at this stage in his development and whether can he perform at a high level in man coverage in 1-on-1s. Being a safety prospect, Togans may not see a ton of man coverage assignments but will have a great opportunity to prove he’s capable of doing so. We liked his run-defense film a lot when evaluating him, but in a camp setting that’s typically not an area you can showcase well. Pass coverage and playing the ball in the air were two areas we want to see more of from him, and Togans will be able to put those on display at the combine.
