McKiever is a corner that has great vision and can read through the receiver to the QB’s eyes to come up and make a play on the underneath routes. He can play trail technique and has the speed to quickly close and play through the receivers hands, knocking the ball out at the last second. He is not afraid to come up and make a tackle, getting in the mix and stripping at the ball as well. Will be looking to make a name as a lockdown corner this season and will be one to watch.
Gonzales is a player that has been turning heads at camps and has been making an impact on the defensive side of the ball this spring. He has great hips and at his size can open up and run with the quicker receivers, playing trail technique and high pointing the ball. He shows soft hands and turns into a receiver when the ball heads his direction, coming down with the ball and taking it to the house. He can make tackles in the open field and uses his strength to get off of blocks and bring the runner down. He will be a top southern Colorado CB to keep an eye on moving forward.

Martinez is a safety that has good vision and instinct to make a break on the football and uses his soft hands to come away with it at times. He can come down and make a hit to dislodge the ball away from receivers as well. He is good in the open field being able to come up and make a tackle, rallying to the underneath throws. Can read and react quickly to screen passes showing the ability to take on blocks and shed them, forcing the ball carrier to his help.
