The camp also helped players prepare fo[player_tooltip player_id='713060' first='r' last='t']he upcoming summer camp season. There were several players who stood out at this showcase, let's take a look at the top Defensive Linemen in attendance.

[player_tooltip player_id='1321144' first='Tyrel' last='Weatherspoon'] - Concord - At 6'1 and 280 pounds Tyrel is a Class of 2026 prospect who definitely looks like he's going to be a big-time player before his time is done at the high school level. Tyrel won the strongest man competition at the showcase among all the linemen, as well as showed good agility for a young prospect at that size. He showed a good getoff during the 1 on 1 portion of the showcase as well. He's a little unde[player_tooltip player_id='713060' first='r' last='t']he radar at the moment, however I think once he does get his name out there more, he will be on colleges radars soone[player_tooltip player_id='713060' first='r' last='t']han later for sure.

Jeremyah Patron - North Mecklenburg - Jeremyah displayed a good pass rush throughout the 1 on 1 session consistently versus the offensive line. At 5'11 and 215 pounds, Jeremyah is a hybrid defensive end/linebacker/EDGE prospect, and should start garnering some college interest during the fall season, especially afte[player_tooltip player_id='713060' first='r' last='t']he first 3-4 games as other prospects commit and colleges are looking for good prospects. I like his highlight film, he tackles well in open space and is able to shed blocks well to get into the backfield for sacks and tackles for loss on a consistent basis. Jeremyah is a Class of 2024 prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id='1691002' first='Tyler' last='Bryant'] - Mallard Creek - Tyler is a 2026 prospect standing at 5'10 and 200 pounds, but the big thing with Tyler is he shows a relentless motor. Those kinds of kids are always going to do well in camps and showcases - he has a good first step in rushing the passer as well. His film backs up what we saw in the showcase, and as he continues to grow his body and mature, it will be fun to watch him to continue to create havoc on the defensive side of the football the next three years.

Aiden Black - Central Cabarrus - Aiden is another 2026 prospect coming in at 6'0 and 260 pounds. The thing I liked about Aiden was how well he moves at that size at his young age, it was impressive through the agility drills and the defensive line individual drills. Aiden also works hard in the weight room, he has a bench max of 275 pounds and a squat max of 420 pounds already as a freshman. I'm excited to see Aiden's growth throughout his career.
