As I dive deep into the class of 2024, I find a bunch of sleepers. I spent the bulk of today watching film and evaluating a ton of guys, and these four guys I dove deep into today. I firmly believe that these athletes deserve a whole lot more attention!

Dang. I'm super impressed by [player_tooltip player_id='852078' first='Liam' last='Young']'s film! Offensively, Liam is a great route-runner with super sticky hands. He runs good out/in/comeback routes and catches those with good concentration. On his deeper routes, Liam is able to create separation at the end of this route or oftentimes straight-up wins against solid coverage against him. He's able to stand out in quite a few ways as a receiver, and I think he's good enough for DII ball. Defensively, his 7 INTs speak for itself. He's a ball hawk and hard-hitting safety. There are instances where he immediately breaks on the ball and claims an interception. He has ball instincts that not everybody has. There are other instances where he reacts well to a ball carrier, and delivers some impressive hits. I'm surprised that he hasn't been getting college attention. My initial opinion on [player_tooltip player_id='852078' first='Liam' last='Young'] is a Divison 3 prospect.

I just did a deep dive on Pettus today as he was one of the last RBs in the 2024 class I've fully evaluated. Although he doesn't have any offers, this is a Division 1 (MAC) prospect. Look at his tape. He's a huge 6'1" 220 who plays through the whistle, is profoundly athletic for his size, and makes things happen in the open field. Devon is a well-rounded between the tackles runner who can bulldoze you over or stutter-step you before he flies past you. If you're a college coach at any level, go look into [player_tooltip player_id='368031' first='Devon' last='Pettus'] right now.

Gavin is another guy I watched while working on the RB rankings. As a back, he put up an impressive 1300 AP yd & 13TD season though 10 games. He's a solid all-around running back who would be good option for NAIA or DIII football. He's able to outrun most defenders while being a solid open-field runner.

Although I liked his RB tape, some of his LB tape really opened my eyes. I need to look more into Gavin as a LB, but he posted 61 tackles, 15TFLs, 7 Sacks, 5PBUs, and 2 forced fumbles. Gavin played a great game against GR Catholic Central as he attacked and tackled well against one of the most explosive offenses in Michigan.

This is an example of the backup of a D1 prospect not getting enough credit. Dharius runs in a very similar fashion to Townsend, with great explosiveness, good vision, and a habit of fighting for a few extra yards. He's able to play multiple positions and deserves much more college attention. In fact, I'll paste what I have in my RB spreadsheet for Dharius.
"Very well-rounded tape despite being the backup to [player_tooltip player_id='667472' first='Brock' last='Townsend']. Time playing RB and Slot. Experience running between the tackles and quick routes. Used as a weapon in the open field. A no-brainer D2 grade for me based alone on his tape. May need to continue to prove himself this season. High Ceiling, but largely unproven."
