The Warriors have 2-2 record this season. Zac is a three-starter at defensive back. He has been a mainstay at running back as well. However, this year he is the premier RB. Olson is averaging around 15 carries a game. He had a huge game against Groton in which he had 23 rushes for 171 yards and three touchdowns! He also caught a pass for 17 yards in the 36-22 win over Groton. Zac is leading the Warriors in rushing this season. In hoops, Olson is a tough and reliable defender who locks up on-ball. He is quick on the hardwood and is a hustler/hard worker. Zac is also the PG, floor general, and leader who does the little things to help the team.

It’s been every year since we started in the Dakotas back in 2021 that the Winner Warriors have a bellcow running back that stands out in their triple option offense and against Hot Springs, that was 2026 RB Zac Olson Zac Olson 5'7" | RB Winner | 2026 State SD . During the live eval, Zac struck me right away with his patience that I feel is only going to grow stronger the deeper we get into the season. He showed off on a chunk of reps that he has great and growing vision and it’s evident that this young man plays with the instincts you want in your backfield. He might be undersized, but that has never been a problem over the years for last year’s 11B state champions.

- Zac popped out to me as a running back prospect that has well-balanced agility especially within high traffic areas of the inside box from the first look at his freshmen tape.
- He also shows off smooth open-field vision that has a longer length with his strides than you would expect with his 5’8 150 pound size as Zac as the ability to stretch the field well with his burst around the edges of the field.
- I also like what I see out of Zac with his football IQ, as he shows off a three-way prospect that has swiss army knife skillsets to be an asset on the field wherever he is lined up as he reads the field smoothly in his reps on tape as a running back prospect that lands right inside our top 35 in South Dakota in the 2026 class.
