2024 Recruiting Update

He never released his top schools, but his decisions came down to Miss State, Ole Miss and BAMA. Beavers fell in love with Ole Miss from day one. Their staff made sure they stayed in touch with him. Beavers is going to have a chance to make an early impact in Oxford. Expect to see him causing ruckus in backfields later this year.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='344082' first='Anthony' last='Maddox'], QB, Oak Grove, 2024</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Texas A&amp;M commit has set an official visit to be in Aggie Country. His commitment is holding strong. Maddox has a few more times to show off his arm this summer. The Oak Grove quarterback has already been a busy man this off-season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='346340' first='Tristen' last='Fortenberry'], OL, Pascagoula, 2024</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Fortenberry has really seen his stock rise. He is a big boy that I think is going to be a tackle on the next level. He has a nice kick step. Fortenberry doesn't over anticipate on passing plays. He let's the defender do all the moves he wants. He uses what the defender gives him to his advantage. Fortenberry is also efficient in their run offense. He recently received an offer from Nicholls State.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='344089' first='Taccofah' last='Lewis'], OL, Pearl, 2024</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Lewis has committed to Memphis. Lewis made up his mind that he is staying close to home. Memphis isn't even three hours from Pearl. Lewis is going to be able to make an early impact at Memphis. He has a very high football IQ. Lewis has the ability to bounce around on the line. Some people think he will be a guard or center on the next level. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
