As we continue to make various stops at high schools to evaluate talent across the state there will be preview spring watch articles followed by Part II which includes notes and links to videos on social media. Today, we'll be featuring Clearwater Academy and head coach Jesse Chincar where Redzone Scout Drew Johnson attended spring practice to get a glimpse of the program. Compared to many other practices attended in the last weeks, CAI stood out as a sound program with a good foundation and vision. There were multiple standouts from Thursday's practice that will be mentioned below. Let's get into some of Drew's insights.

Took a trip out to Clearwater Academy for a look at the program and left with the understanding that Evans Chuba is that dude. He creates instant interest because of his college-ready frame but really closes the gap when showing off his cannon-like arm strength combined with good timing and accuracy with his receivers. He also displayed his ability to get mobile out of the pocket and that he can use his legs to extend plays if routes collapse. What stood out to me was his leadership mentality. He's a smart prospect behind center that knows the playbook and where to go with the ball. Combine that with a head coach that has a vision for offensive success, and CAI should be in the running again this fall.
