Red Oak Football Spring Practice

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I was very excited to be able to come check out this program. The school campus was very beautiful. Their coaches showed great hospitality as I watched their spring practice. I expect this team to do great things this season. Let's check it out. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='624141' first='Zach' last='Smith'], LB, 2024</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Smith is a very sought after linebacker. He has some good size, and he moves well. Smith is a hybrid linebacker that gets after the football. He can make big hit, but he also knows how to make good open field tackles. Smith is a leader on this defense that gets his guys pumped up to play. Smith is a playmaker that also does a great job of doing his assignment. He just picked up an offer from Kansas.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Kaiden Bates, DL, 2024</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Bates is a big aggressive defensive lineman that uses his hands well. Bates had a great year last year as a junior. We expect him to have a good senior year also. Bates is very coachable. He loves the game, and keeps his motor going.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Taz Williams, WR, 2025</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Williams is a well-known prospect in the 2025 class. He is a very polished with good route running skills. Williams received an offer from Ohio State yesterday. He has offers from power five schools all over the country. Williams is a four-star on several platforms. He was in Ohio when I visited. His film speaks for him. This guy is going to do great things this season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='212421' first='Brayden' last='Robinson'], WR, 2026</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Robinson is one of the fastest guys you will find. He runs a 4.47 40 yard dash and 10.45 100m dash. He is super fast with great athleticism. Robinson already has a host of offers and some from power five schools. He is going to put up some big numbers this season. With him and Williams on the same team, the sky most definitely is the limit for this squad.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>TJ Stocker, DB/LB, 2025</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Stocker has that 'it' factor. He isn't sophomore I was glad I got to meet this week. Stocker is a gamer. He knows how to make plays. I think that he too is a hybrid player. Stocker is also a leader on defense. I love to see guys get vocal the way he does. Stocker is aggressive and plays the game with a high motor.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Maurice Wells, DB, 2024</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Wells is aggressive as well. He loves to come up and make tackles. He is a firecracker on this defense. Wells brings much energy to their defense. This could be a breakout year for him. I'll be paying attention.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Chris Martinez, RB, 2024</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I was impressed with this young man today. That Red Oak defense is known to get after the football. He was out there doing his thing against some studs. Martinez has good vision and he is quick. He also has some nice hands out of the backfield. He is another guy I'll be watching this season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
