Now that the season has wrapped up I have been going through several names of prospects that I believe are being under recruited. While doing that I realized there are a handful or more of kids that not only are under recruited, but I can’t find any evidence that they have any offers at all. Those are the athletes that I want to highlight today. I have found six senior student athletes that, despite solid play, don’t look to have any sort of offers based off going through their twitter feeds. Every one of these six players deserve at least D3 interest in my eyes. Ahead I will take a quick look at each of the six athlete’s film and give a breakdown of what they have to offer a college program. Let’s dive in! [player_tooltip player_id="31162" first="Nick" last="Sulla"], WR- Oconomowoc The 6’ 180 lbs WR finished the season with 25 receptions, 229 receiving yards, and 3 TDs in 7 games. Nick was apart of a deep receiver group in Oconomowoc, but based off his film he wasn’t buried by the surrounding talent. I actually caught one of his games live this season while one of the leading receivers was out. Sulla stepped right up into the go to role and was apart of a big win over Kettle Moraine. Nick is a reliable receiver with good hands and he isn’t afraid to do the hard jobs either. He will go over the middle, play in the slot, make tough catches in traffic, and runs angry with the ball in his hands. He will be more of a possession receiver at the next level, and that fits him perfectly. Give him a look here! Sulla's Senior SZN Hudson Weber, WR-Onalaska Hudson checks in at a well put together 6’2" 185 lbs and put up an impressive 24 receptions, 560 yards, and 9 TDs in his senior season. This is one of the biggest surprises for me on this list. Hudson is another player that I was able to catch live this season and I left very impressed. His blend of size and speed is very hard to find. Take a look at his film and you will see a big receiver that is able to fly off the line of scrimmage and eat up cushion. When a DB does press him, Hudson has an impressive release off the line that usually results in him creating separation right away. Once out in the open field, Weber is very difficult to corral and bring down. He can win with strength and run through tackle attempts or he can win with shiftiness and agility. Maybe I’m missing an offer or something that isn’t on his twitter because I am shocked he is on this list. I believe he could play at the D2 level. Hudson Weber’s Senior SZN [player_tooltip player_id="31021" first="Michael" last="Dinaso"], DB- Tremper Coming in at 5’11" 180 lbs, Dinaso is an intriguing DB prospect. When going through his film, you will see that he has a knack for stepping up and making plays in key scenarios like in the redzone and on third and fourth downs. He has proven that he is a versatile safety. Michael has made plays as a deep safety, he made plays against some of the best receivers in the state in man to man coverage, and he has the range and tackling ability to come downhill and make plays against the run game. Michael does a great job breaking up passes by getting his hands between the receivers or by delivering some well timed hits to separate the receiver from the ball. Take a look! Dinaso's Senior SZN [player_tooltip player_id="31181" first="Jacob" last="Earle"], DL- Xavier We might have a steal here as the current Bay Conference DL of the Year doesn’t seem to have any college offers. At least nothing posted. Earle finished the season with 44 tackles, 8 sacks, and 14 TFLs and he looks the part at 6’3’’ 235 lbs. Jacob has nice play speed for the position and he pairs it with a high motor. That combination led to several of his plays as he consistently plays to the whistle. Earle flashes some good strength on the edge too as he showed that he can both set the edge against the run and drive OTs backwards while rushing the passer. Jacob has experience and has made plays from both a two and three point stance as well. Check him out! Earle's Senior SZN [player_tooltip player_id="30842" first="Ryan" last="Verstegen"], LB/DB- Little Chute Ryan is one of the only athletes on this list that has some interest, but he still doesn’t have any offers from what I can tell. Time to change that. I wrote about Ryan in the preseason projecting a breakout season and he delivered on it. In 7 games, Ryan put up 96 total tackles, 11 TFLs, 2 sacks, 1 FR, 3 FF, 4 blocked kicks and 8 PBUs. His film shows a player that can do it all. He is at his best when he can play in space from the OLB/ nickel position. He has the closing speed and the range to make plays anywhere on the field. Ryan also does a great job of reading the line and putting himself into great positions to make plays based off that read. Once he gets to the ball carrier or receiver, Verstegen is one of the hardest hitters I have watched this fall. Ryan delivered on the big season I thought might be coming. I hope he can get the recognition that his ability deserves. Check him out! Verstegen's Senior SZN [player_tooltip player_id="30852" first="Riley" last="Christensen"], ATH- Belmont Riley might be the best kept secret in the state of Wisconsin. Maybe it is because he plays in the 8 man league or he has just been overlooked, but it is time he gets his opportunity and interest from the next level. There are so many things Riley could do at the next level thanks to his frame, strength, and athleticism combination. In high school he dominated on the ground from the QB position and was a force at the LB position. Riley comes in at 6’2" 220 lbs and he carries it very well. As a runner, Riley has an impressive burst and overall speed for his size. He consistently pulls away in the open field. His vision and contact balance are very strong traits of his as well. On defense, Riley shows off very good burst and closing speed. He can quickly diagnose plays and put himself in the right place at the right time and when he makes contact he can deliver some big time pops. College programs, it is time to get on this kid. He’s a hidden gem if I have ever seen one. I can’t believe he doesn’t have any offer posts. Christensen's Senior SZN
