Stefan is one of two SJC receivers on this list making for a dangerous combo for defenses to try and stop. The standout feature of Stefan is his route running. He may be the best pure route runner in the class. Able to drop his weight, stop & start quickly and use body feints to get the DBs off balance and create separation. Stefan also has a smooth long stride with good burst of the LOS. He’s also has excellent hands. Snatches the ball out of the air and consistently catches the ball away from his body. Capable of making the difficult & spectacular catch as well.
Generating plenty of college interest this winter, Stefan has added three P4 offers, giving him just shy of a double digit total of P4s right now. He will easily be a 20 offer prospect in the future and coaches will love his route running when they see him in camp this summer.

Roger’s offer list includes Maryland, North Carolina, UCLA, and Wisconsin. He actually took an unofficial visit to UCLA this past weekend while he was out there for an event. I’ve seen him twice this month, both at NXGN events in Miami. I think the off-season will give colleges a better opportunity to see him as a route-runner and get a closer look at his quickness in and out of routes. I think Rogers is technically sound and can probably show more of that in a camp setting.

out of St. John’s College is Maryland Class of 2028 7th ranked prospect overall! He has numerous Power 5 offers and he hasn’t even begun his sophomore campaign. I can see why my Maryland crew ranked him so high, kid is explosive and looks like a college football player already. The second ranked receiver in his class expect Rogers to dazzle the competition all weekend.

Stefan is a player I’ve gotten to see a couple times already this season and each time he impresses me more and more. He’s a smooth athlete with a nice stride and fluid movement. A crisp route runner, he stems his routes, stick his foot in the ground to make strong cuts, and knows how to get separation with little movements. The other thing I like about Stefan is his catch radius and strong hands. He can go and get the ball, snatch it out of the hair and make the difficult catch. It is a strong WR group in the 2028 class and I can see Stefan challenging for that #1 spot in said group every year.

Rogers is a prospect to circle in red right right now–for next year. He is re-classing to the 2028 class and should instantly become one of the top receivers/defensive backs in the country in middle school ball next year. On top of the dependable hands and strong skillset he brings to the table, the one word I have in all caps and underlined in my notes from practice is LEADERSHIP. More than one coach from the event came up to me and asked “if I knew Carlo” and I obviously did–but it was good to see him live. From the opening whistle of practice he was attentive and dialed in. Took charge in the stretching/warm up lines and served as an extension of the coaching staff on the field. I’ll have to check him out more (and over time) to put an accurate guess on where his ceiling is, but he checked a lot of boxes for me tonight.
