A breakout junior season has allowed Isaia Faga Isaia Faga 6’2″ | 250 lbs | DL Central | 2024 State AL , the extremely talented DT out of Central, to see his stock rise exponentially this offseason. Last fall- Faga had received just one offer from Utah, who he quickly committed to- since then however, seemingly everyone in the nation has been dying to add a player of his caliber to their 2024 classes. Faga, although he has been productive his last two seasons, had a huge fall last year- posting up 3.5 sacks, 29 total tackles- 8.5 of which were TFLs. Though his production on the stat sheet isn’t massive, his impact on the game without a doubt it. Faga’s size, power, and ability to fight through blocks is unreal- running the ball against him simply is not an option- he eats up so much space and completly moves entire offensive lines around to the point where there is never a lane open for opposing backs. In addition to that, Faga’s play demands double teams from opposing offenses on a consistent basis, which in turn allows his teammates to feast when they are rushing the passer. Overall, it’s no wonder why Alabama, Auburn, Tennessee and many others have sent offers out to this prospect- his play does a whole lot of talking for him, keep an eye on him moving forward though- this prospects stock is going through the roof!
Roman Gagliano Roman Gagliano 6’3″ | 210 lbs | QB Opelika | 2024 State AL has become both a highly efficient passer and leader of Opelika’s offense, watching his tape one thing is abundantly clear- he has a super high football IQ. Gagliano is fantastic under pressure, can maneuver the pocket and extend plays super well, and has the ability to make a wide variety of throws both from the pocket and on the run. Gagliano’s decision making is phenomenal- whether he’s under heavy pressure delivering a strike downfield, or creating something from nothing when the pocket collapses- he’s just going to find a way to make plays. Last winter, Gagliano recieved his first offer from North Alabama, and he’s sure to add more this fall!
Bryce Cain Bryce Cain 5’10” | 170 lbs | WR Baker | 2024 State AL is another player that had a breakout season last fall, emerging as one of 2024 QB Josh Flowers Josh Flowers 6’3″ | 210 lbs | QB Baker | 2024 State AL top receiving targets at Baker. Cain is a superstar in the making- he is an unbelievably talented deep threat that thrives off his ridiculous speed and acceleration, route running, and ability to make defenders miss- he’s just an incredibly quick and shifty WR that is just a pain for defenses to try and stop. Possibly his greatest attribute is his elusiveness- Cain has a super deep bag he pulls all kinds of moves out of- whether he’s utilizing his jump cut, spin move, or just flat out juking defenders out of their shoes, he seems to always find a way to make those trying to tackle him look silly. Last fall, Baker really benefited from his play- Cain posted up 26 receptions for 497 yards and 5 touchdowns. Since then, his stock has been rising tons- having recently recieved offers from Ole Miss, Louisville, Tulane, and more!
Jashawn Cooper Jashawn Cooper 6’1″ | 220 lbs | LB Montgomery Academy | 2024 State AL was a super productive player on both sides of the ball for Montgomery Academy- producing really well at both running back and linebacker last fall. Cooper is a super instinctual player no matter where he’s lined up- on offense, he uses his speed and power to bulldoze his way downfield, and on defense he has a great ability to make sideline to sideline plays using his vision to pursue the ball carrier. On the year Cooper had 729 yards and 13 touchdowns off of just 138 carries, with an additional 33 total tackles (3 TFLs), and 2 sacks. Cooper recently received an offer from Army and TSU- keep an eye on him going forward he’s sure to get more!
