Guys To Know In The Trenches

It is always nice to find the guys we haven't gotten a chance to talk about yet. Alabama and Mississippi have some studs in the trenches. It's a big part of their running game and defenses being so good.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='925413' first='William' last='Sanders'], Bridgewood, OL, 2024</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Sanders is a very polished offensive lineman. He has good footwork. It shows on his film as well as when he attends camps. He is a patient blocker. I love to see patient blockers from young prospects. Sanders recently picked up an opportunity to play football at Tulane. He was the OL MVP at the Rivals Camp in Dothan, Alabama this past weekend. Sanders is a guy to keep up with. This young man knows how to hold his own in the trenches. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2>CJ May, 2025, EDGE/TE, Homeland</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>CJ May is a dog on the field. He is a guy that you are going to want to know. Young man has a lot of skills. He is a magician coming from the edge. I love seeing young men his age have a lot of different ways to get to the quarterback. He definitely is a guy that you need to keep up with. May is a physical defensive end with a very high motor.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='653008' first='Dalyn' last='Pierce'], DE, Bay Springs, 2025</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Pierce is a guy that has a lot of athleticism. He can play at a high level in several different sports. This is a very talented young man. He plays basketball and baseball as well. Pierce is a beast on the field. He goes and gets the football at tight end. He also turns around and makes big plays at defensive end. Pierce is the kind of guy coaches would love to have on their team. He doesn't have offers yet, but that is going to change this year.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='430698' first='Kaleb' last='Bailey'], OL, Adams Country Christian School, 2024</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Bailey is a big boy who proved himself at the Miss Lou Combine this past weekend. He was very impressive in the one on one sessions. Bailey has a lot of size standing at 6-foot-6, 330-pounds. He is going to be a big time D1 prospect. He displayed great football IQ at the combine. Bailey knows what to do to protect his skill players behind him. He is a guy that we need to keep up with.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2><strong>Donel Robinson, OL, Holmes, 2026</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Robinson is a big boy that everybody needs to get to know. He was a top performer at the Miss Lou Combine. He moves very well to be his size. Robinson also knows how to move around in the trenches.
