One of the top ATH’s in the Baltimore area, James was a do it all player for Woodlawn this season. An impact player on both sides of the ball at WR and DB, he will most likely make his home at FS at the next level.

This past week James received his first FCS offer from Morgan State. At S James show incredible range, able to play centerfield and get sideline to sideline and eat up grass to get to the ball. He shows excellent ball skills, attacking it in the air and going up and getting it.  He will come down in the box/run the alley and shows physicality and will lay a hit. Expect James to garner some more interest at the FCS level the rest of this winter.

Gamble had an outstanding junior season, finishing with an impressive 43 tackles, 4 interceptions, and 2 pass breakups. His strong performance has earned him a second scholarship offer from the University of New Hampshire, joining the offer he previously received from UMass. Gamble is no stranger to success, as his journey to becoming a playmaker began on Milford’s junior varsity team, where he made an impact on both sides of the ball.

Over the years, Gamble has developed into an exceptional safety. His physicality in the run game and powerful hits set him apart, while his range from midfield to the sideline in pass coverage makes it difficult for opposing quarterbacks to complete deep seam passes. As his recruitment continues to grow, Gamble’s all-around skill set, and versatility could make him a sought-after defensive prospect.

Gamble dons his hard hat and gets to work for the Millers. His development has been on a steady rise, beginning as a standout freshman on the junior varsity team and earning a spot in the Prep Redzone database. Playing the safety position, Gamble has been a force on the field, securing four interceptions while covering the entire field, from hash to sideline. He’s far from a timid defensive back; Gamble aggressively attacks the run after the catch and isn’t afraid to deliver a big hit. His ability to support the run game before allowing substantial gains further highlights his versatility.

Currently ranked #2 in interceptions for the 2A class, Gamble leads all defensive backs. In addition to his four picks, he has recorded 37 tackles, a handful of pass breakups, and 86 interception return yards, demonstrating his ability to flip the field and make an impact after forcing turnovers.

Gamble has made 24 total tackles (17 solo) in six appearances this season. He also has three interceptions.

A do it all player for Milford Mill, James gets impactful minutes on both sides of the ball at WR & DB. I expect James to take the next step as big time playmaker for the Millers this season.

Shifty and dynamic as a WR, James can play outside or in the slot as he is able to use his quickness to create his own space. He has quick feet and able to chop and breakdown to make strong cuts and stem his routes. James also had a good showing at the National Preps Spring Showcase, shining in 1v1’s. He showed real strong route running and the ability to make the tough/spectacular catch. James tracks the ball real well and will go up and snatch it. He can also contribute as a FS on the defensive side as well. I can see James stepping up as a junior and being a name on colleges radar going into next camp season.
