The Christian Brothers football program has been a well known program & rich in tradition. Their roster is filled with phenomenal athletes who are not only smart and productive on the field but in the classroom as well. Here’s some key names to keep an eye on throughout their college journey & a great QB to follow up with next season for the Cadets! SS / Defensive Back / Versatile Athlete [player_tooltip player_id="37399" first="Jordan" last="Marshall"], Class of 2021, Christian Brother College High School, Creve Coeur, Missouri Height: 6’1ft | Weight: 205lbs [player_tooltip player_id="37399" first="Jordan" last="Marshall"] also know as a BIG HITTER is an ELITE player! Marshal is the type of player that finds something that excites or motivates him to keep him going! He encounters an attitude within himself to "love the suck" and is always thinking a couple steps ahead of his opponent. Marshall is committed to Ball State University. [player_tooltip player_id="37399" first="Jordan" last="Marshall"] recognized his coverage skills needed improvement so he worked towards improvement. Marshall was tired of only being recognized as a Big Hitter and as a result he is 2nd in state for interceptions. Marshall started varsity as a sophomore, gained knowledge young, and developed a competitive attitude fighting with seniors to win that spot. Knowing that it wont be a problem for him to make a quick impact at Ball State. Not only is Marshall great on the field but excels in the classroom. Marshall has 4.3GPA and was selected for great American Rivalry Series Scholar Athlete Award. QB / [player_tooltip player_id="37608" first="Patrick" last="Heitert"], Class of 2022, Christian Brothers College High School, Creve Coeur, Missouri Height:6’0ft Weight: 185lbs [player_tooltip player_id="37608" first="Patrick" last="Heitert"] is only a Junior and was named All District quarterback just last week! Heitert separates himself from other quarterbacks when it comes to his accuracy and ball placement on throws. If you haven’t seen this kid throw the ball you need to tune into his highlight tape or a game next season! He has a unique game when it comes to being able to escape the pocket and make throws on the run. Not often do you see a quarterback lower his shoulder on defenders & he is not easy to bring down. Last season (2019 ) [player_tooltip player_id="37608" first="Patrick" last="Heitert"] knew he had some skills that needed some work. He mentioned that this past off-season was "The hardest I ever worked in my life" Heitert enhanced his game speed, throwing, power, and ability to extend plays. Doing so earned him the starting QB position this season and going into next as well. Patrick was also named first team All-Conference, he currently has no offers but interest in Miami Ohio, Middle Tennessee, North Dakotah State, Yale, Harvard, Indiana State! Hopefully these schools get at him sooner than later! The kid is a STUD! WR / Athlete [player_tooltip player_id="37431" first="Kenneth" last="Hamilton"], Class of 2021, Christian Brother College High School, Creve Coeur, Missouri Height: 5"10ft | Weight: 180lbs [player_tooltip player_id="37431" first="Kenneth" last="Hamilton"] is a special WR! Unlike some High School WR he knows his role! "I know that not every play will have me open, so it is my job to either get open or get my other receivers open." A selfless response from such a young football player. Being able to read the defense and understanding what is happening on each play from not just his position is something that a lot of High School athletes do not have the ability to do at such a high level as Hamilton. He understand coverages very well and can usually figure out the holes in the defense quickly. College coaches can expect Hamilton to bring a lot of dedication, commitment, and intensity to their program. Next season [player_tooltip player_id="37431" first="Kenneth" last="Hamilton"] said he wanted to work on scoring every-time he touches the ball! [player_tooltip player_id="37431" first="Kenneth" last="Hamilton"] was inducted into the National Honors Society and was chosen for the second team All-MCC. He has a few offers, but one does not outweigh the other. SS / Corner Defensive Back / Versatile Athlete Ty White , Class of 2021, Christian Brother College High School, Creve Coeur, Missouri Height: 5"11ft | Weight: 160lbs Ty White has a high intelligence level when it comes to at reading offenses. White specializes in getting around blocks and making the play. He has great speed & knows how to take a hit. What I find most interesting about White is his big heart. The kids love for the game is top tier. The heart, motivation, & leadership will bring a winning atmosphere to college that offers Ty White. To play for an HBCU team is his dream. Ty White mentioned something that stood out to me as we spoke. He stated "I am always going to make the best out of whatever God gives me with football education or whatever God plans is my plan."
