Carlisle does damage using his legs as well, showing quickness and elusiveness. He is shifty in the open field and is unafraid to lower his shoulder pads and run through a defender. Carlisle is a gunslinger in every aspect and a player who will looks for the knockout punch and will deliver when not defended well. He will continue to rise up the ranks throughout his senior season.

Austin plays with a gunslinger mentality, he has the arm strength to push the ball down field while being extremely accurate and he has the skill set to make big plays happen when he gets outside the pocket when avoiding pressure. He has great pocket awareness, he navigates pressure well and he can make pinpoint throws on the run when he gets outside the pocket. Austin sees the field well, he understands how to throw his receivers open and he has the arm talent to fit the football into small passing windows. When he breaks contain on the run, he has the speed to make plays with his legs and he turns into a running back in the open field. His junior season he put up phenomenal numbers, totaling 3,700 all-purpose yards with over 3,100 passing yards, rushing for more than 600 yards and accounting for 46 touchdowns. Austin has seen his profile raise on the recruiting trail, with offers from ULM, Navy, Penn, UTEP, Marshall and North Texas among the double digit list of schools who are seeking him out to play at the next level. Austin is one the top signal callers returning in the Houston area and he makes Ridge Point a team to keep an eye on to make a playoff run his senior season.
