Here is a scouting report on the gems of eight football who had solid offensive performances in the Regional Playoff Round.
Mitc Bdke Mitc Bdke 5'9" | 145 lbs | QB Chase County | 2023 KS , Chase County – Budke, a sophomore running back, helped guide the Bulldogs to a 56-8 win over Sedan. This is a young man for scouts to take note of and watch down the road. He rushed for 117 yards and two touchdowns in the Regional victory.
Jayden Garrison, Little River – Garrison, a senior quarterback, scored seven touchdowns in Little River’s 46-26 win over Clifton-Clyde. He rushed for 197 yards and four touchdowns while throwing for 159 yards and three scores. The Redskins (8-2) will host Chase County in Sectional play.
Xander Newberry, Argonia/Attica – Newberry, a junior quarterback, scored six touchdowns in the Titans’60-14 win over La Crosse. He completed eighty-percent of pass attempts which included three touchdowns. Newberry rushed for three more scores and 164 yards and 12 carries. The Titans travel to Leoti in the next round to face Wichita County.
Ashton Dowell, Hoxie – Dowell had a big offensive game in Hoxie’s 50-0 win over South Gray. The junior quarterback threw for 181 yards and three TDs. He also rushed for two scores and 80 yards. The Indians will face Goessel in a road contest in the Sectional Round.
