is a talented QB/DB out of ACA who is having a dominant sophomore season this fall.
“Jackson is a smart decision-maker. He gets passes off quickly, takes what defenses give him, and finds ways to take care of the ball and move the chains consistently. Jackson also has the speed to roll out and beat defenses with his legs, making him an every-down threat with the ball.
I’m most impressed with how Jackson performs under pressure. He does a great job navigating the backfield to stay on his feet and deliver impressive throws on the move/with defenders in his face. I’m looking forward to watching Jackson play this fall. He’s a seriously talented prospect with a ton to offer at QB.“
We raved about Jackson in early August, and man, has he proved us right. He’s been killing it this season, making tons of plays with his arm and legs. Make sure you check out some of his film against Pleasant Grove below:

Jackson is a quarterback who can light up defenses with his powerful right arm. His deep ball consistently forces safeties to play honest, opening up space for his offense. At his age, the velocity he puts on intermediate throws already mirrors older varsity quarterbacks, which speaks to his natural arm talent. Beyond power, Jackson is learning to harness touch and timing, making him a well-rounded passer with elite upside. His combination of strength, confidence, and field vision makes him a dangerous player to defend.

Another Alabama native who shined during the Atlanta Prep Redzone camp, Jackson made plenty of plays with his arm over the weekend but also showed off his speed and agility. Jackson ran a 4,89 in the 40-yard dash and followed that up with an impressive 4.44 time in the shuttle, showing his quick feet and ability to change directions on a dime. His 7.4 time in the “L-Drill” was also among the best in his group. He’s a quarterback in Alabama on the rise who could have a giant sophomore season next fall.

Here is my previous note on Jackson from this weekend:
“ Drew Jackson Drew Jackson GA was one of the younger guys in the QB group, but impressed regardless and was recognized by coaches post-event. Jackson might not be the physical standout in the group, but he quietly was a consistent performer and spun the ball well. It jumped off his hand well for his size, impressing coaches and PRZ scouts in attendance. Jackson was a steady performer and threw with more juice than you would expect.”
