Expert Analysis
Connor Jackson | Prep Redzone Scout
Gianopoulos, now at New Manchester, has started for 4 years on varsity and is saving his best for his senior season. He is thinner-limbed with room to add more mass. For a lankier player, he has his feet under him well, shaking defenders and working across the face of tacklers. I would say he has enough straight-away speed to separate from the defense and does a good job maintaining his top speed. He picked up a D1 offer from Samford back in the spring.

A sleeper running back in Georgia who finally earned his first D1 offer, Gianopoulos is an athletic running back who really shined as a pass-catcher last season out of the backfield. He hauled in 62 passes for 637 yards and four touchdowns. He’s one of the top returning running backs in the area bound for a big senior season in 2025. Now, he holds a well-deserved D1 offer from Samford.

Gianopoulos is a a guy that has debuted in the Prep Redzone Rankings as the #14 overall RB in the ’26 but I feel he has yet to be talked about on the Statewide scale. Great frame and speed and has produced at the varsity level since his freshman season. He was used primarily as a RB his 9th grade year, rushing for close to 600 yards and scoring 7 TDs. He moved more into the slot position last season and proved to be a weapon for the Patriots. Gianopoulos recorded close to 800 total yards last season with 62 receptions. I had the chance to see him live last season and was impressed with his ability to catch the ball in traffic and his physicality with the ball in his hands. A natural football player that has earned a look at the next level.
