The Sooner State Shootout is in the books and it was a fantastic weekend of football in Broken Arrow! 65 teams came and four would walk away with championships in their respective divisions. First up, Sooner 7 would capture the 12U championship after avenging their only loss of the tournament against JT29 in the title game. That would start a theme on Sunday with Sooner 7 capturing three out of the four championships.

The 14U squad was the next team up to win a championship after defeating Northwest Elite on Sunday afternoon in dominant fashion. They had to survive overtime in the semifinals to make it to the championship game but once they got there, they absolutely rolled. In the 15U division, Sooner 7 would once again make it to the title game but it was True Buzz continuing their outstanding 7v7 season. This team is perfect so far this offseason and they captured the 15U championship on Sunday.

And finally it was down to the 18U division and it was back to Sooner 7 defending the home state turf and beating Stretch The Field Football Academy in a very exciting championship game that was back and forth throughout. We want to thank every coach, player and parent who made the Sooner State Shootout a special event over the weekend. The Prep Redzone 7v7 Series is off to a great start and this is just the beginning! We'll see you next month in Nashville in March!
