I love the WRs in the class of 2023. Up and down, there is some insane talent at this position. Even though we only have a few players heading to D1 schools, so many of these guys know how to make plays. As you'll see in this article, there are some real sleepers here!

As I said in my Top 5 Prospects article, I absolutely love what Semaj brings to Michigan. This is the twitchiest, moth athletic receiver I've seen, and he same some real big play ability. It's obvious that Michigan gunned for him, and I personally am delighted that he's a Wolverine!

[player_tooltip player_id='178996' first='Evan' last='Boyd'] | Central Michigan Commit

Evan is a physical receiver with a massive catch radius. His game reminds be a bit of AJ Brown, as he's able to make those contested catches while also being an open-field threat. He's a dream team player, an all-state athlete, and could be the next big thing in the MAC. Also, can we talk about how amazing CMU's 2023 class is?

[player_tooltip player_id='240757' first='Triston' last='Nichols'] | SVSU Commit

I just talked about Nichols in my sleepers article, but the main takeaway is that Triston had some offers pulled after an injury, and now he's my #1 prospect heading to the GLIAC. Nichols is big, physical, and runs some great routes. He knows how to get open, knows how to create separation, and makes big plays. I'd be shocked if he isn't a great DII player.

[player_tooltip player_id='232201' first='Alex' last='McLean'] | GVSU Commit

McLean has just concluded a legendary career with Rockford, as he holds many WR records for the team. This is a dominant high-volume slot receiver not unlike a guy like Amon-Ra St. Brown. Alex has a competitive edge, and he's strong as a bull (especially strong for a receiver). He'll be joining his brother at GV, and I can't wait to see what he'll be able to accomplish in Allendale!

[player_tooltip player_id='407083' first='Tayte' last='Vanderleest'] | Central Michigan Commit

Tayte is a big potential player. He played very well this season, but I don't think he was a high-volume guy in the RP offense. But when he did get his chances, he made the most of them. He has the ability to high point the ball, as well as win 50/50 plays. He's a good ball tracker, and surprisingly slippery after the catch.
