Cy-Ranch Mustangs Ashton Porter Ashton Porter 6'4" | 240 lbs | DL Cy Ranch | 2023 State TX Sr 6’3 255 lbs
Ashton Porter Ashton Porter 6'4" | 240 lbs | DL Cy Ranch | 2023 State TX is a slim and quick defensive end with tons of power to boot. Ashton couldn’t be stopped one drive Ashton was being blocked by two offensive linemen and one tight-end and they still had trouble containing him. Ashton proved that he is well deserving of being ranked top 50 in the state of Texas and a candidate for the Under-Armour All-American Game. When I interviewed Ashton Porter Ashton Porter 6'4" | 240 lbs | DL Cy Ranch | 2023 State TX it was clear that he has a lot of pride in his teammates and love for his family.

Paetow Panthers David Hicks David Hicks 6'4" | 245 lbs | DL Paetow | 2023 State TX Jr DE Sr 6’4 270 lbs
David Hick is the ideal size for a defensive end and he is quick off the ball, agile, versatile, and possesses great athletic ability. David has a rather unique high school football career playing for three different high schools; Morton Ranch High School, Allen High School, and finished at Paetow High School. However, no matter where David suits up he is still a perfect defensive end. David is great at attacking the edge, using his power and speed to break through any obstacle in his way to make the play. David’s strength is incredible every play he would drive the offensive linemen back into the backfield with minimum effort and chase down the running back or pressure the quarterback making him rush a lot of passes. David recently played in both The Under-Armour All-American Game and The Polynesian All-American Game.

North Shore Mustangs Jacoby Davis Jacoby Davis 5'11" | 170 lbs | DB North Shore | 2023 State TX CB Sr 5’11 175 lbs
I can name several qualities Jacoby Davis Jacoby Davis 5'11" | 170 lbs | DB North Shore | 2023 State TX has, but one trait that standouts are that he is a phenomenal athlete. North Shore played man coverage the whole game and Jacoby was always on his man allowing no separation between them. Although, North Shore lost one of the main reasons why they were able to compete was because of Jacoby. Jacoby was able to prevent two touchdowns by deflecting passes and even caught an interception. I noticed Jacoby’s outstanding talents last season and he has only improved since then and has become one of the top cornerbacks in Texas.

Shadow Creek Sharks Maurice Williams Maurice Williams 6'1" | 185 lbs | DB Shadow Creek | 2024 State TX II S Jr 6’1 190 lbs
Maurice William II is one of the best linebackers in not only Houston but in Texas. Maurice is great at attacking he has impeccable tackling form and is great at coverage during pass plays. Maurice has deflected numerous passes throughout the season and once a wide receiver caught a pass he stop them dead in their tracks. Maurice throughout this season has made a ton of tackles, caught interceptions, causing and recovered fumbles and I’m looking forward to seeing his development in his senior season.
