The Tampa-Metro area is a known hotbed for producing elite talent and many of those athletes reside in the class of 2024. Prep Redzone scout Andrew Johnson will be highlighting rising prospects in various positions from the class of 2024. Here is a list of wide receiver rising playmakers to know.
Isaiah Hudson | 2024 WR | Sickles | @_Isaiahhudson4
5’11, 170-pounds
The elusive junior led all 2024 receivers in the Tampa Bay Area with 1,117 receiving yards on 70 receptions. He also finished with an outstanding 1600 all-purpose yards and 8 touchdowns. Hudson has been tremendous for Sickles and has unlimited potential heading into his senior season. Hudson understands how to find open space to break down different defensive looks. Decent speed with effective hands will make him a problem at the next level.

6’4, 190-pounds
One of the most exciting prospects in the area because of his measurables and potential upside. Has everything you want in a recruit: speed, great hands, with a good burst and catch radius. The 6’4 athlete also competes in track and field events which helps his ability to run by defensive backs with elite speed. If he doesn’t beat DB’s with impressive route running, Moore has the hands and jumping ability to go over defenders.

5’10, 165-pounds
Really impressed with Booker’s ability to simply beat his defender with pure speed and effective footwork. Booker is a dual-sport athlete that has good body control and developed route-running skills. Just get the ball in his hands and Booker will do the rest. Big play ability with promising catching skills.

Ferrell plays alongside five-star Florida receiver commit Eugene Wilson III Eugene Wilson III 5'11" | 165 lbs | ATH Tampa Gaither | 2023 State FL but was still able to lead Gaither in receptions (66) and receiving yards (903) through 12 games played. Speed and shiftiness are what define` Ferrell on the football field. Extremely hard to take down in the open field because of his electric agility and juke moves.

Parks is an impressive athlete that can play both running back and receiver. Lined up as a receiver during his junior year and made the most of it. Parks led Wharton with 632 receiving yards and 9 touchdowns to add. Has extreme breakaway speed and can be a problem with the ball in his hands because of his running back vision.
