Outstanding Houston High School Linebackers (2022 Season)

In this article, I will be covering standout defensive linebackers that I have seen this season from Houston.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>Manvel Mavericks [player_tooltip player_id='269992' first='Kaleb' last='Blanton'] Jr 6'2 210 lbs</em></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='269992' first='Kaleb' last='Blanton'] is an ideal outside linebacker. Kaleb is very aggressive and quick being able to blitz and attack holes tackling running backs or quarterbacks. Kaleb is a hard hitter and an efficient tackler with great tackling form. Kaleb has made the most tackles I have seen this season always being in the action. Kaleb recently was ranked as a 3-star athlete and it was deserved the way he was playing this season. Christian is resilient and great at blitzing consistently in the backfield putting on the pressure throughout the whole season. Christian is also able to patiently read plays and determines where the ball goes and instantly attack the ball holder.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>College Offers: Louisiana State University (Committed)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>Paetow Panthers Alexander Kilgore ILB, RB Sr 6'2 210 lbs</em></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Alexander Kilgore is a straight-up athlete being able to play on both offense and defense. Alexander was a linebacker and a running back he dominated in either position. On defense, Alexander read the plays and instantly went after the ball carrier delivering a devastating tackle. One pass play Alexander read resulted in him catching an interception. Jadon was always pursuing the ball and looking for someone to tackle. Jadon had great tackling form and decision-making. Jadon knew exactly when to capitalize on certain situations. Jadon was able to read pass or runs play being able to get into the backfield, overwhelm the running back or quarterback, and tackle him.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>College Offers: North American University and University of Wisconsin-River Falls</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>2022 Stats: 153 tackles, 3 interceptions, and 5 sacks</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>North Shore High School Jarvon Cole Jr 5'9 185 lbs</em></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Jarvon Cole is a technical and aggressive linebacker. Jarvon was patiently biding his time to tell where the play was going and deflect any passes that came his way. Jarvon also wasn't afraid to be aggressive and physical and made sure he was a threat to anyone that he had his sights on. Being an essential player on the best team in Texas demonstrates his fortitude and skillset. By the end of the next season, I gratuity Jarvon will be a top college prospect with tons of offers by his senior year.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
