RB – Bradley Brown Jr – This young man stood out immediately as I was observing the running backs. The 2024 prospect from Lee Senior was very fluid in his drills, showing off high-level agility and change of direction consistently. He rushed for over 2000 yards this past season with 21 touchdowns – At 5’10 and 185 pounds, I would expect his recruitment to pick up as he enters his senior year and colleges begin to narrow down their recruiting options as commitments start to take place.
RB – Ashton Allen-Hawkins Ashton Allen-Hawkins 6'1" | 175 lbs | RB Summerville | 2025 State SC – The 2025 prospect from Summerville (SC) really stood out to me because of his physical frame. At 6’1 and 175 pounds, he has the size that colleges like and can continue to grow with two years left in his high school career. Even though he was a bigger running back, he still moved very fluidly and effortlessly, traits that you tend to see in players that can become special.
RB – Davari Wilson Davari Wilson 5'4" | 150 lbs | ATH Darlington | 2024 SC – A 2024 prospect at 5’4 and 150 pounds, you have to be elite to stand out at that size, and I felt like Wilson was because of SPEED. Everything he did was very quick, and that always gives you a chance for success at the running back position. From Darlington HS, I can see Davari making an impact in the passing game and with some special runs and plays from the slot also – and colleges always need a guy to do those special things, including in the kick/punt return game.
WR – Braden Mashtare Braden Mashtare 6'0" Landrum | 2024 SC – I felt like Braden was the most polished receiver in attendance. I thought he ran his routes well, caught the ball with good technique on air and in 1 on 1’s, and his footwork was very good going through drills throughout. He is a 2024 prospect from Landrum in SC, standing at 6’0 and 195 pounds. He was named an All-Region player this past season.
WR – Elijah Stevenson Elijah Stevenson 6'3" | 185 lbs | ATH Leesville Road | 2025 NC – I see a lot of potential in this young man. A 6’3 185 pound 2025 prospect from Leesville Road, he really caught the ball well all throughout the camp. I of course like his physical frame, and his route running was very good. As he gets time to continue to develop, I’m anxious to see how his hard work and technique translates to the field, and ultimately film, this upcoming season.
WR – Ja’quarius Mayrant Ja’quarius Mayrant 6'0" | 180 lbs | WR Camden | 2024 SC – The 2024 prospect from Camden HS in SC was named the Wide Receiver MVP for the showcase. I like his explosion in and out of cuts – something observed in the route running/agility drills portion of the showcase. At 6’0 and 180 pounds, he shows the ability to make some elite plays against man coverage, and he can get it done playing some Wildcat QB as well. He has some Division 1 interest, which I expect will continue as he enters his senior year.
