Every Sunday, we’ll announce five players as candidates for Prep Redzone Oklahoma Player Of The Week. You can vote on your pick as many times as you’d like. On Wednesday, we’ll announce the staff pick and also who won the fan’s vote. You can vote on this poll until Wednesday at noon. Voting closes at that time and we’ll announce the winners afterwards. Ben Ward Ben Ward 6'1" | QB Pryor | 2021 State OK - Quarterback - Pryor Senior quarterback is no stranger to putting up big numbers on Friday night. However, before this season, he was doing it for the Cleveland Tigers. He’s traded Tiger stripes and now slings the ball for Pryor and he led a blowout win over Glenpool Friday night. He threw for 362 yards and four touchdowns on 28-34 passing. He also added 76 yards and a pair of touchdowns on the ground as Pryor rolled. Braylin Presley Braylin Presley 5'9" | RB Bixby | 2022 State OK - Running Back - Bixby It was the most anticipated game in week five and we billed it as the "Battle Of The Dynasties" as Bixby traveled to face Carl Albert. And it turned into a blowout. Bixby dominated and won 56-14. Junior running back could not be stopped in the victory over the Titans. He carried the ball 25 times and finished with just over 300 yards and six touchdowns in the win. He also made a few catches in the pass game. Jaden King Jaden King 6'2" | DB Booker T. Washington | 2022 State OK - Defensive Back - Booker T Washington It’s not very often that we have a defense-only candidate and this week we have two. We couldn’t deny Booker T Washington junior as one of the top performers after he came down with four interceptions in a win over Bartlesville. The Hornets needed someone to step up with going down with a torn ACL. King appears to be that guy to combine with as cover corners for the Hornets. Qwontrel Walker Qwontrel Walker 5'8" | RB Stillwater | 2021 State OK - Running Back - Stillwater It seems like he’s a candidate every week and that’s because every week he puts up monster numbers. But Stillwater senior running back might have had his best moment come in their latest win. The Pioneers beat Del City and Walker ran all over an Eagle defense littered with Division 1 talent. He still had 272 yards on 27 carries and three touchdowns. Against the toughest competition, Walker still shines. Reese Roller Reese Roller 6'0" | 210 lbs | LB Verdigris | 2023 State OK - Linebacker - Verdigris In another top game from week five, Verdigris dispatched Berryhill 31-14. The Cardinals took control of the district race and they relied on their defense to get the win. Stepping up in a big way was sophomore linebacker . The Cardinals have plenty of young talent but it was Roller that shined in the win over the Chiefs. In the win, Roller finished with five sacks on defense and seven tackles overall. He also forced a fumble.
