Andrew (Deuce) Knight

No tape yet. Though King is 3-0, having faced some good competition. It’s safe to say that King as performed well so far this season.
Against Cass Tech, Knight just needs to make good decisions. I saw it in Cass Tech’s game against Toledo CC- this team can play great coverage, but great athletes can still get open. You’ll have some man coverage wins, and Knight should do a good job taking advantage of those. I’m interested in seeing Andrew read zone coverage. This team has the talent to beat Cass Tech and later win a City Championship, and even later a Sate Championship. In order for that to happen, their QB needs to play well.

Efficentcy.
Granted, I have not watched tape on Andrew in a minuite, but I remember how amazing he was during his freshman season. In the very difficult MAC Red, Andrew has consistently been a very efficient, smart passer.
I am really, really looking forward to seeing how Andrew performs with Detroit MLK. Needless to say, I’m expecting a big season from Knight.

Knight is the presumptive QB1 for Detroit King next season. Coming from Sterling Heights Stevenson, Andrew was a major bright spot for a team that’s struggled in the extremely talented MAC Red.
The silver lining here is that Andrew has a TON of experience against great, physical defenses. King’s strength of schedule (at least in the regular season) will be a downgrade to SH Stevenson. So, I expect Andrew to play lights-out against many conference opponents. On the flip side, King is going to play Cass Tech (probably twice), a few good teams in the playoffs, and King usually schedules a tough Week 1.
I’m looking for Knight to play like he’s never played before. As a freshman, Andrew was lights-out as a pocket passer. I’ve always been impressed with how quickly Andrew got the ball out.
I’m looking forward to seeing Knight play with a different supporting cast. It’s a completely different team, but a great opportunity, and a ton of weapons.

There aren’t many quarterbacks in this class that have taken as many snaps as Andrew Knight has. He has been a starter since he made the jump to high school. His transfer to Detroit King will be an interesting thing to track this fall.
Knight has the physical tools to be extremely effective. He’s incredibly athletic and has a big arm- think Aidan Chiles at Michigan State. His ceiling is as high as anyone’s if he is able to put it all together this season. An upgrade in supporting class and coaching could be the thing Knight needs to take the next leap in his progression.

Knight won’t be my #1 quarterback during the upcoming update, but his transfer to Detroit MLK is an extremely interesting development. Assuming he starts and Darryl transitions to another position, Knight could see a meteoric rise.
- Has always been quite athletic
- Had a sensational freshman season
- Flashes a big arm, great IQ, overall doesn’t take too many risks
- A big question mark until he’s at King. Will his game improve all that much? Will his weapons up his game?

Andrew is someone who I now view as a Division 2 prospect. I know he earned a few D1 offers early in his high school career, and I still think he’s a great QB, but I frankly haven’t seen a ton of growth over the years.

He remains one of the best all-around QBs in Michigan. I really like his processing, I like his off-schedule playmaking, and he has few true weaknesses. His overall accuracy and big-throw ability can be improved upon. My gut is that he’ll one day be a great GLIAC quarterback or work his way up on a MAC roster.

Andrew Knight is a great talent. Though, I haven’t seen a whole lot from him this season.
I’m wait-and-see with Deuce. I’d love to see his Junior highlights, but right now, I think his best film was from his freshman season. I don’t know enough about him to comment about development, but he simply hasn’t put out enough good tape to convince me that he’s improved a ton.
Still, I’ve seen the talent in person. Andrew has an amazing arm, phenomenal instincts, and he came out of middle school with impeccable accuracy. I hope to see Knight at some point this offseason, where I’ll be able to get a better handle on his current abilities!

For as young as Andrew is, he has played a TON of football. He is a dual threat kid who has been working his butt off for awhile now, and you’re seeing it pay off. He has a big arm, he has the accuracy to make a ton of difficult throws, and he has a knack for escaping the pocket and breaking the back of a defense with his running abilities. The 3-1 Titans will face a stout Eisenhower team this week in hopes of pulling off the upset and taking a huge win in the always tough MAC Red.

Knight is probably the most well-known prospect attending the Combine Series, and dare I say the most talented. Knight has the accuracy, playmaking ability, and processing to one day be a Power 5 prospect. I am blown away by his efficient play in picking part defenses in the difficult MAC Red. This is one of those prospects that has the IT factor, and I’d be shocked if Knight went anywhere that wasn’t a Division 1 college.

Knight already has a very good amount of varsity experience, and he has done nothing but impress me every time I see him. During 7 on 7 season last summer I watched him light it up against some really solid defenses, and was making all the throws. Short and intermediate throws area accurate and thrown with good pace. I think his arm strength on deep balls is improving, but will definitely be something to work on going forward. Overall he is just getting better against some really good competition and I think he could raise his stock a ton this year.
