Warner Robins Football’s Hot Start

Following a strong game, but unfortunate loss to Valdosta in week one, Warner Robins’ High School football team has gotten off to a very hot start. While they lost their first game 25-28 to the Valdosta Wildcats, and their now ineligible QB transfer, Jake Garcia, they have managed to stack two wins since then. The first win came against Archer High School, in which they routed the opposing team 42-7. The most recent win they have added is their 47-0 win over their rival, Northside High School. This would also have made it the fourth year in a row, that they have beaten Northside.
So fat this season, the Warner Robins football team has been competing at a very high level on both sides of the ball. Offensive play makers such as QB, [player_tooltip player_id="33713" first="Jalen" last="Addie"], and RB [player_tooltip player_id="33832" first="Jahlen" last="Rutherford"] have continued to get better each game. This has helped the Demons to be able to move the ball very effectively against opposing teams, and to put up gaudy numbers.
While the offense is performing strongly, one of the most impressive parts of this team, is their defense. In the past two weeks, their defensive unit has only allowed 7 points. While the secondary has managed to play at a high level, despite giving up a few big plays, the strength of the defense is the defensive line. Pass rushers such as Vic Burley, and even LB Ahmad Walker, have helped to add continued pressure to the QB’s in which they face. Going into next week’s match up against Houston County, Warner Robins will certainly hope to have some of the same success that they have had early on in the season. If they manage to be able to do so, we will not be surprised if they end up adding on to this success, and finding a way to eventually make a run in the playoffs.
