2022 Rankings: Wide Receivers Set for a Climb

The 2022 rankings are stacked with wide receivers. There are many that will have a big junior year and have a chance to climb up the rankings. Here are some names to keep an eye on. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="27988" first="Elijah" last="Steward"] | Holy Spirit</strong> Steward was extremely productive in his second season. He totaled 670 yards and 10 touchdowns. Steward is a true No. 1 option within an offense. Holy Spirit likes to get the ball in his hands and let him use his speed to make plays. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="28034" first="Logan" last="Blake"] | Delaware Valley</strong> Blake is productive on both sides of the ball for Delaware Valley. As a receiver, he logged 300 yards and six touchdowns as a sophomore. These numbers will continue to rise over his final two seasons. It will be interesting to see Blake’s role in the offense take an even bigger leap this season. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="28050" first="Kyree" last="Drake"] | Mater Dei</strong> Mater Dei is an incredible program within the Shore Conference. They breed Division I athletes and Drake has the makeup. He is a speedy wide receiver that can run past defenders on the outside. His hands will improve as an upperclassman and that will take his game to the next level. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="28056" first="Joe" last="Diorio"] | Red Bank Catholic</strong> Diorio is a huge breakout candidate this season. He has great size at 6’4 and moves well on the outside. He has a chance to turn into a red zone threat for the Caseys. This will allow him to move up the rankings if he breaks out this season. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="28045" first="Jake" last="Diaz"] | Hasbrouck Heights</strong> Diaz is an undersized receiver but this just means he has to use his other skills to succeed. He is a shifty receiver with great versatility. He can be used as a ball carrier as well as a player on the outside. Hasbrouck Heights has a chance to open up the offense with Diaz on the field. &nbsp;
