For the regional finals on December 2nd, 2022 it will be The Katy Tigers vs The C.E Kings Panthers at The NRG Stadium home of The Houston Texans NFL team. The Katy Tigers are still undefeated, but if anyone could stop their strong run game I think C.E Kings’ defense could. I will be breaking down both teams’ key players for this upcoming game.
The Katy Tigers
#23 Seth Davis Seth Davis 5'7" | 165 lbs | RB Katy | 2023 State TX RB Sr 5’7 175 lbs
Seth Davis Seth Davis 5'7" | 165 lbs | RB Katy | 2023 State TX is one of the most notorious high school running backs in all of Texas. Seth is the most dependable and most valued player on The Katy Tigers roster. Once Seth has the ball he takes off and will be left untouched to the end zone. Seth has been unstoppable in the playoffs in the 1st three games Seth has scored 9 touchdowns. Seth is a top college prospect having numerous college and university offers but has decided to commit to Mississippi State University. Seth’s stats currently this season in 11 games are 173 carries with 1,620 rushing yards and scored 23 touchdowns.
#18 Dallas Glass RB Sr 5’7 160 lbs
Dallas Glass is another stand-out running back for The Katy Tigers. Dallas is a quick and fast running back. Dallas refers to himself as an all-purpose back being able to fill in as a standard running back and fullback. Whether Dallas is running the ball or blocking he does both with great purpose. Dallas’ stats currently this season in 12 games are 120 carries with 1,185 rushing yards and scored 21 touchdowns.
The C.E Kings Panthers
#6 Bryce Morton ILB Sr 6’1 215 lbs
Bryce Morton always stood out as a middle linebacker. Bryce transferring from Spring for his senior season made C.E King’s defense one of the best in Houston. Bryce is great at blitzing and assisted in stopping a good amount of run plays, rushing the quarterback, and getting a couple of sacks. Bryce exerted a lot of pressure on the opposing team’s offense and is a major threat as a middle linebacker. Bryce currently has four college and university offers from; Angelo State University, East Central University, Trinity International University, and The University of Arkansas-Monticello. Bryce’s current stats this season in 13 games are 74 overall tackles, 11 sacks and 22 quarterback hurries.
#12 Dylan Spencer Dylan Spencer 6'5" | 245 lbs | DL C.E. King | 2023 State TX DE, MLB Sr 6’5
Dylan Spencer Dylan Spencer 6'5" | 245 lbs | DL C.E. King | 2023 State TX is tall and slender very appropriately built for a defensive end. Dylan was fast and quick off the ball and always made his way into the backfield. Offensive linemen couldn’t stop Dylan which continuously led him into the backfield rushing quarterbacks and stopping run plays. Dylan is a top college prospect with numerous college and university offers but decided to commit to The University of Texas. Dylan’s current stats this season in 13 games are 75 overall tackles, 9 sacks and 33 quarterback hurries.
