26. Kainoa Hayes Kainoa Hayes 6'2" | 250 lbs | DL Central Catholic | 2025 State OR 6-2 230 DE/OLB Central Catholic- Expect Hayes and teammate Zac Davis to be a problem for opponents. Kainoa looked outstanding at off season camps and with continued growth will rank among the top defenders in the state.
2022 SEASON UPDATE: One of Oregon’s top ranked sophomore defenders. He had an outstanding season racking up 2nd team all Mt Hood honors, making 38 total tackles with 6.5 tackles for loss.
27. Kameron Rague Kameron Rague 6'1" | 195 lbs | ATH South Medford | 2025 State OR 5-11 175 DB Cascade Christian- Rague did a little bit of everything as a freshman starting at the Safety position, while contributing at RB. Even as a youngster his ability to hit was impressive, making 63 total tackles with 5 tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks on the year. His 9.1 yards per carry average and 3 TDs offensively speak to his overall athleticism.
UPDATE: Rague has a stock that is sky rocketing as he looks to be one of the top players in the state regardless of classification. Look for him to be a small school Oregon POY favorite this season.
2022 SEASON UPDATE: Probably Oregon’s state player of the year for his classification. Rague dominated everyone rushing for 1,331 yards and 20 TDs, while averaging 12.1 yards per carry. Defensively he had 61 total tackles, 4 INTs and 5 PBUs.
28. Brody Sahlfeld Brody Sahlfeld 6'4" | 260 lbs | OL Glencoe | 2025 State OR 6-3 240 OL Glencoe
2022 SEASON UPDATE: Head Coach Ian Reynoso is one of the state’s best and speaks highly of this kid. Sahlfeld comes from a talented family and was one of the top lineman in the conference, earning 2nd team all-league honors
29. Tyler Hart-McNally Tyler Hart-McNally 5'10" | 175 lbs | ATH West Albany | 2025 State OR 5-9 170 ATH West Albany
2022 SEASON UPDATE: Look for Hart-McNally to be a 5A state POY candidate the next two seasons. He had 99 touches for 903 all-purpose yards and 6 TDs, averaging 9.1 yards per touch.
30. Trey Kennedy Coleman Trey Kennedy Coleman 6'2" | 280 lbs | DL North Medford | 2025 State OR -Coleman 6-2 265 DL North Medford- This kid is young for the grade and should still play early and be one of the best in the SWC in the coming seasons. He looked great at off season camps and workouts.
2022 SEASON UPDATE: One of the state’s top young D lineman. He had a big sophomore season, making 55 tackles, with 5 sacks, 11 tackles for loss, and 19 QB hurries. He was deserving of all conference honors but did not receive.
31. Dominic Macon Dominic Macon 6'3" | 295 lbs | DL Nelson | 2025 State OR 6-3 295 DL Nelson
2022 SEASON UPDATE: The big man had a breakout season, helping Nelson go (8-2), while earning honorable mention all conference accolades. He was a problem for opponents on the interior.
32. Ryan Holmes Ryan Holmes 6'2" | 210 lbs | LB West Linn | 2025 State OR 6-2 220 OLB West Linn- The Holmes family definitely doesn’t disappoint. Look for Ryan to be a problem for opponents within the TRL from an early age. The Lions are so loaded so playing time is a question mark.
UPDATE: As noted ALL the Holmes kids can play with one playing D1 ball at OSU and the other returning as a 1st team all TRL D end. Just outstanding overall athletes and people.
2022 SEASON UPDATE: Holmes will be a big factor next season for the state champs on both sides of the ball. His brother Jake Holmes Jake Holmes 6'3" | 225 lbs | DL West Linn | 2023 State OR will graduate after being a 2x 1st team all-league DE (Unanimous). Look for Ryan to play a similar role.
33. Drew Baltz Drew Baltz 6'3" | 180 lbs | WR West Linn | 2025 State OR 6-3 180 WR West Linn- Baltz can play on either side of the ball and would start for a majority of the programs within Oregon as a Sophomore. That said as the Lions are loaded and he may have to wait his turn.
UPDATE: One of the fastest rising stocks of any player in the class. He’s another athlete who is making it difficult to keep him off the field.
2022 SEASON UPDATE: One of the top two-way threats in Oregon for his class. He had to wait his turn this past season as part of a very deep state title group. He will project as an all TRL guy next year.
34. Lusiano Lopez Lusiano Lopez 6'2" | 240 lbs | DL Lake Oswego | 2025 State OR 6-0 220 DT Lake Oswego- Undersized for the position but a real talent up front. Played some varsity ball as a freshman. The Lakers will continue to be a contender in the years ahead with Lopez projected to be one of the state’s top defensive athletes.
UPDATE: Look for Lopez to play early and be one of the better d linemen in the TRL this season. He’s not your prototypical big man but super talented.
2022 SEASON UPDATE: Lopez had one of the best sophomore seasons of any player in Oregon. His 1st team all league honors in the state’s toughest conference, speaks to his early success. On the year he averaged 5 tackles per game with multiple sacks.
35. Danny Wideman Danny Wideman 5'10" | 175 lbs | ATH West Linn | 2025 State OR 5-9 160 ATH West Linn- You will hear a lot about this kid in the years ahead. One of the top three-sport athletes in the Pacific NW. Could be the exception to the rule from a size standpoint, also excelling on the baseball field.
UPDATE: One of the most exciting athletes in the state when in space. Even with the team’s depth expect the Lions to figure out a way to get him in the mix (Kick/Punt returns etc..)
2022 SEASON UPDATE: Potentially the state’s top return man the next few seasons, where he earned 2nd team all TRL honors as a sophomore. He will be a consistent big play threat on offense as well.
36. Tanner Starbuck Tanner Starbuck 5'10" | 170 lbs | DB Stayton | 2025 State OR 5-10 170 RB/S Stayton- Not a lot of people know about him yet, but he should be a favorite for 4A Oregon POY honors in the coming seasons. As a freshman he went for 9 TDs in 4 games also excelling on D.
2022 SEASON UPDATE: The 4A standout racked up 1st team DB honors and honorable mention all-conference receiver accolades. Defensively he was lights out making 73 tackles, with 4 INTs and a sack. He also had 5 TDs on offense.
37. Nick Crowley Nick Crowley 5'11" | 185 lbs | ATH Wilsonville | 2025 State OR 5-10 160 WR Wilsonville-Another kid who made an impact early and projects as one of the best in Oregon at the 5A level. Crowley caught 19 passes for 217 yards and 2 TDs, also making 11 tackles defensively at the Varsity level. Look for him to be a featured athlete on the 7v7 circuit as part of Team Lillard.
UPDATE: One of the most versatile players in the state at the 5A level with the potential of being an all-state guy this season. He will combo nicely with senior Cooper Hiday Cooper Hiday 5'11" | 160 lbs | WR Wilsonville | 2023 State OR who is super smooth.
2022 SEASON UPDATE: Crowley should be one of the best in the state at the 5A level the next two seasons. Wilsonville made a run to the state title game, but he was limited in his time.
38. Brody Borrevik Brody Borrevik 6'2" | 240 lbs | DL Sheldon | 2025 State OR 6-1 225 DE/OLB Marist- One of the best young athletes coming up in Oregon at the 4A level. Borrevik should play early for the Spartans on D as he is physically mature and ready.
2022 SEASON UPDATE: Borrevik backed up the early hype, earning 1st team all-conference honors defensively, and finishing with 26 tackles, 2 tackles for loss, and a sack.
39. JoJo Harrower JoJo Harrower 6'5" | 195 lbs | QB Ashland | 2025 State OR 6-4 185 QB Ashland- Starting Varsity QB as a freshman before injury. Has an ideal frame and a legit arm. Will need to work on mechanics and hopefully get some time in the pocket next year.
UPDATE: The Grizzlies went winless last year but that was not because of Harrower. They will need others to step up as he is one of the top young QBs in the state.
2022 SEASON UPDATE: Harrower had an outstanding year, passing for over 2000+ yards and 23 TDs, on a team which has struggled. He will project as one of the state’s top QBs for his class.
40. Noah Blair Noah Blair 6'2" | 180 lbs | QB Thurston | 2025 State OR 6-0 170 QB Thurston- The Colts have produced some good one’s over the years and Blair is a multi-sport talent who could be another one. We will see which sport he continues to pursue.
2022 SEASON UPDATE: Blair has the potential of being one of the best QBs to come out of the school and the Midwestern Conference. He had an impressive sophomore season, hitting on 73% of his passes with 22TDs/4 INTs
41. Kellen Hicks Kellen Hicks 6'1" | 180 lbs | DB Mountainside | 2025 State OR 6-0 165 ATH Mountainside- Just an outstanding overall athlete. Can pretty much play any skill position on the field other than QB. The Mavericks have the numbers and talent to compete state wide.
UPDATE: One of the fastest rising programs in Oregon with #s. They have a legit line and could feature one of the state’s top young athletes this season.
2022 SEASON UPDATE: Hicks did a great job in the secondary, with multiple INTs and a TD on defense. He will project as an all Metro athlete on both sides of the football.
42. Grant Valley Grant Valley 6'0" | 170 lbs | WR Jesuit | 2025 State OR 6-1 170 WR Jesuit- One of the fastest kids in the Metro and maybe the state for his class. Expect him to be a primary target at WR from a young age and be a reason for the run-oriented team to air it out.
UPDATE: Everyone is aware of Valley’s speed impressing in track as a freshman. The Crusaders possess the top line in the state and can always use burners on the perimeter.
2022 SEASON UPDATE: Valley played a limited role for a loaded Crusaders group, but did avearge 38 yards per catch, with 2 TDs on the season. Look for him to combo nicely with Jace Burton Jace Burton 5'11" | 165 lbs | DB Jesuit | 2024 State OR as another big play receiver.
43. Brigham Davis Brigham Davis 5'10" | 160 lbs | DB Lakeridge | 2025 State OR 5-10 160 DB/ATH Lakeridge- People have raved about this kids’ ability. Davis will most likely start for a top 5 6A Pacers program that is a legit conference and state title contender. He is a D1 kid at some level depending on continued growth.
2022 SEASON UPDATE: Davis had an unfortunate injury a few days before the 1st game, which sidelined him for the season. If healthy the sky’s the limit.
43. Ben Schneider Ben Schneider 6'0" | 180 lbs | QB Oregon City | 2025 State OR 6-0 175 QB Oregon City- The Pioneers possess some of the top young talent in the state and Schneider looks to be the dude who could be leading them at QB. He has done well from an off-season training standpoint.
2022 SEASON UPDATE: Schneider stepped up and looked good as a sophomore in th state’s toughest conference. For the season he hit on 63% of his passes (151/240), for 1,543 yards, and 13 TDs/4 INTs. Being named honorable mention all TRL.
45. Luke Bigsby Luke Bigsby 6'3" | 270 lbs | DL Banks | 2025 State OR 6-3 270 DL Banks
2022 SEASON UPDATE: There is a lot yet to be determined with Banks playing a 3A/4A schedule, but Bigsby has great size for a young athlete, putting up some ridiculous numbers for the season. 44 tackles, 20 tackles for loss, and 3.5 sacks
46. Mark Wiepert Mark Wiepert 6'1" | 200 lbs | LB Wilsonville | 2025 State OR 6-0 190 WLB Wilsonville
2022 SEASON UPDATE: Wiepert is committed to Oregon St for Baseball and one of the best anywhere on the Diamond. His overall athleticism on the football field was on display where he accounted for 112 total tackles, 8 tackles for loss, and 2 INTs. He also averaged 19.2 yards per reception, with 8 TDs offensively, helping the Cats to the state title game.
47. Cade Vandiver Cade Vandiver 6'0" | 190 lbs | LB West Salem | 2025 State OR 6-0 190 LB West Salem
2022 SEASON UPDATE: Son of former Ducks LB Chris VanDiver. It was a tough season for West, but Shawn Stanley is one of the best to ever coach in Oregon, and we will hear a lot about Cade in the future.
48. Jackson Farris Jackson Farris 6'2" | 225 lbs | RB Valley Catholic | 2025 State OR 6-2 225 DE Valley Catholic- Regardless of the level it’s rare for any freshman to earn 1st team all-conference honors. Farris did just that and will be a leader for one of the best young head coaches in the state in Michael Snyder.
2022 SEASON UPDATE: Farris earned 1st team all league honors again and did well running the ball for the VC. That said as he will project on the defense
49. Luke Baker Luke Baker 5'11" | 175 lbs | ATH Clackamas | 2025 State OR 5-11 170 QB/ATH Central Catholic- One of the only freshmen to get time for the state champs this past season. He is expected to excel on the 7v7 circuit and be a featured athlete for one of the region’s top programs.
UPDATE: It’s rare for any freshman to win multiple state titles (football, track) as he projects as one of the top QBs in the state for his class. That said as he currently plays behind reigning Mt Hood POY Cru Newman Cru Newman 6'0" | 185 lbs | QB Central Catholic | 2024 State OR who is only a junior.
2022 SEASON UPDATE: Baker will need to remain patient, playing behind Oregon’s top QB for the 2024 class in Cru Newman Cru Newman 6'0" | 185 lbs | QB Central Catholic | 2024 State OR . He is a talented kid who will get his turn.
50. Max Nowlin Max Nowlin 6'4" | 210 lbs | QB Scappoose | 2025 State OR 6-4 170 QB Scappoose
2022 SEASON UPDATE: The big QB led his team to the state title game, upsetting #1 ranked Mazama to get there. His leadership from a young age was impressive, throwing 22 TDs/ 11 INTs, while hitting on 65% of his passes for 1,865 yards.
