LB Wyatt Haynes Liberty High School c/o 21. The senior linebacker was a hero on Saturday, picking up a major fumble recovery that helped the Eagles soar pass Troy 12-10. As soon as he spotted the ball on the ground, Haynes immediately raced down the field 80 yards to score. This was one of the game changing plays this past Saturday.
RB Jake Waters Fox High School c/o 22. The young running back had an outstanding game, helping the Warriors get by Borgia in a shootout. Waters had 19 carries for 110 yards and a touchdown. He was a huge asset to Fox’s running offense, getting by winning 25-20. As of right now, Waters is one of the top backs in the state of Missouri, and he’s proved it for the past three weeks.
RB Rhoderick Gibson Lutheran High St. Charles c/o 23. Rushing through Duchesne’s defense is a young bull with a nonstop drive to reach the end zone. Gibson had put on a show Friday night, racking up 201 rushing yards and 2 Tds. He led his team in rushing, as a sophomore! If the 5’9 195 Ibs back continues to perform like this throughout the season, he will pick up big time offers from big time schools.
LB Khristian Humes Francis Howell Central c/o 21. The Spartans dominated the whole game against their rival, Francis Howell North (20-7). They couldn’t have done it without senior linebacker Humes. He controlled the whole defense, picking up a total of 9 tackles, 4 Tackles-for-loss, and a sack. This man was on a mission, and it was a major accomplishment.
RB/DB Jay Harris Timberland High School c/o 22. This is the definition of a true athlete. Harris helped all around, providing for his team on both sides of the ball. He rushed for 115 yds and a touchdown and also had 58 receiving yds and a touchdown. That’s not all; the 6-foot-2 junior performed at a high level on defense. Harris had a total of 10 tackles, 2 fumble recoveries, and an interception. If that doesn’t scream ATHLETE, then I don’t know what to tell you.
RB Dominic Flint Dominic Flint 5'10" | 165 lbs | DB St. Charles West | 2021 State MO St. Charles West c/o 21. Getting it done on the ground, the senior 5-foot-8 running back helped his team achieve their first win of the season against Fort Zumwalt East. He bulldozed through the Lions, collecting a total of 166 rushing yds and a touchdown. The senior back is hungry for another victory this week with his team.
