ATH [player_tooltip player_id="28880" first="Xavier" last="Simpson"] (Central Catholic) 5-9, 170: Film is extremely exciting to watch. One of the top return specialists on the west coast for the class of 2022. Simpson will be a featured athlete for Central Catholic in the coming seasons. He didn’t touch the ball a ton behind a deep group of seniors but was electric anytime he got the ball in space. Track athlete who runs a (10.6) 100 meters. With his speed and skill set we look for Simpon’s stock to grow tremendously after the spring season here in Oregon. It will be interesting to see all of the ways the coaches at CC get Simpson the ball next season. FILM: https://www.hudl.com/profile/12800688/Xavier-Simpson ATH [player_tooltip player_id="28882" first="Gabe" last="Olvera"] (Lake Oswego) 5-9, 170: Olvera is an explosive athlete with outstanding strength and balance. He was able to break out during the 2019 postseason for the Lakers making huge plays as a sophomore. Olvera is extremely hard to tackle with his aggressive running style, always delivering the blow. Olvera has outstanding speed in the open field and can be utilized in the slot or in the return game. He reminds us of former Lake Oswego stud RB Jeff Jackson. FILM: https://www.hudl.com/profile/11321454/Gabe-Olvera DE [player_tooltip player_id="28872" first="Jimmy" last="Jordahl"] (Crater) 6-2, 230: The young lineman was a big reason the Comets came within a few points of winning a state title this past season. The edge player has plenty of room to add weight after a breakout season where he earned 1st team all-conference honors and honorable mention all-state honors as a sophomore. Good speed off the edge and excellent tackling ability. Jordahl could easily contribute for the Comets on offense in 2021. LB [player_tooltip player_id="28865" first="Andrew" last="Collins"] (Barlow) 5-11, 200: Comes from a football family. Stepped up big as a Sophomore helping the Bruins reach the 6A semifinals while earning honorable mention all-conference accolades at LB as a sophomore. Excellent reads against the run and instincts at the LB position. Was a key piece on one of the better defenses in the state of Oregon. Smashing fullback on offense with good hands out of the backfield. Made some huge blocks in the run game vs. Central Catholic in the semifinals. Outstanding overall football player. FILM: https://www.hudl.com/profile/6625553/Andrew-Collins TE/LB [player_tooltip player_id="28856" first="Waylon" last="Wolfe"] (Lebanon) 6-1, 210: 1st Team-All League as a sophomore in 2019. Wolfe has a versatile frame that allows him to move all over the field on offense and defense. Ball hawking LB who plays at very high speeds and drives through the ball carrier. Plays downhill defensively, could easily play off the edge or in the middle of the defense. Smooth TE with excellent hands. Made some tough catches over the middle last season in traffic, understands how to get open against zone. We look for Wolfe to develop into one of the better players in Oregon for the Class of 2022. FILM: https://www.hudl.com/profile/11347848/Waylon-Wolfe DE/TE Jackson Biedritzky (Tualatin) 6-3, 210: Great size and mobility last season a sophomore. Comes from a football family with division 1 genes. Very physical player who will play an important role on both sides of the football for the Timberwolves over the next 2 seasons. Outstanding speed and hustle off the edge, made some outstanding plays on film. Sky is the limit for Jackson has he could be dominant off the edge and on offense as a pass-catcher. Stock is on the rise. FILM: https://www.hudl.com/profile/11197820/Jackson-Biedritzky
