Passing the ball, did not come easy for the Gaels. KJ Dillon had a solid game at the helm, and did impress me despite the loss.
First off he is big. Standing at 6’5″ 180-Pounds, he is a big prospect who has a good frame. Weight wise I like the 200 mark for him to add some strength. He displayed a strong arm, and can toss the ball farther than most QB’s. His accuracy was solid, and can use some work. On the ground, he has a good IQ, and can escape bad situations. He has good legs, and solid speed, allowing him to create plays on the ground.

Dillon currently attends Kennedy Catholic, and his school will be updated accordingly. he stands at 6’5″ 180-Pounds. He is a lengthy QB, who has outstanding height, but can look to add some weight, to fill out his build.
Throwing Motion might come the most naturally from him. The Senior QB, is an improviser and can create plays with his arm and legs. He is not a running threat, but can rush for gains if needed. His footwork can use tweaking as he tends to rely on his back foot on occasion making throws harder. He has excellent vision and keeps his head downfield looking for open targets. He might be the best on the run, as his accuracy is near perfect throughout his tape in these reps. Dillon is prospect who continues to improve throughout his career.

Standing at 6’5″ 180 pounds, Dillon has a solid frame for the QB position. The Brewster signal caller can look to gain 5-10 pounds of good weight to improve his frame.
Dillon has a solid arm paired with good accuracy. He sees the field well and has an adequate IQ. He has good ball placement on contested throws and feels pressure well. He can use his legs to escape pressure and create plays down the field but is better as a passer.
Dillon is one of the more intriguing QB’s in Section One. He enters his third year with Brewster after transferring to the team prior to 2023. I look forward to seeing him this fall.

Kenneth Dillon did not start initially for Kennedy Catholic at the beginning of the 2022 season. However, after struggling to throw the ball throughout the season Dillon effectively took over week 7 against St. Peter’s. Dillon had a three game run where he threw for over 140 yards in each contest and had 4 TDs to 2 INTs with a completion % of 67% until a really tough matchup in the second round of the playoffs against eventual champions Xavier. In those three games, Dillon showed that he and Kennedy Catholic have a bright future at QB. Dillon has a quick release but his best attribute is his poise in the pocket, which is at the level of an upperclassman, making it even more impressive. Dillon has a bright future, and with a full season could really have a strong season at quarterback.
