[player_tooltip player_id='327835' first='Zak' last='Olejniczak'] has, without a doubt left his mark on the 2022 regular season and has lead his Lapeer Lightning team to a 7-2 regular season record. To me, Zak has put his name on the list as one of the top 2024 QB in the state of Michigan. I got a chance to see Zak at work this off season, and he didn't mess around. The dude put on clinic at camps, Won MVPs at camps, was invited to Legacy's QB The Selection, balled out during the 7v7 and all the work is showing on the field this season. Zak has great footwork, pose in the pocket, keeps eyes down field, quick release and crazy accurate. In week 2, Zak put the state on notice when he had his hand in 8 total TDs vs Traverse City Central… 7 passing, 1 rushing with close to 500 yards in total yards. Zak is going to need some of that juice because tonight him and the Lightning take on a battled tested Clarkston Wolves team that isn't messing around. The Wolves served Lapeer their first loss of the season in week 8 48-13. Watch for Zak O, to come into tonight game hungry and ready to shock the state.

[player_tooltip player_id='193362' first='Leeshaun' last='Mumpfield']- Cass Tech 2023

Calling Cass Tech an underdog in the first round of the playoffs is a statement you never hear. Tonight the Technicians take on the Lakers of West Bloomfield who have went toe to toe with giants all season and left victorious… but they haven't played CASS, and haven't see the heart of QB [player_tooltip player_id='193362' first='Leeshaun' last='Mumpfield']. Lee is a DAWG, simple as that. Great leader, great role model in the community and a great QB on the field. Lee's talent with the rock is unbelievable, the zip he put on the ball is impossible to defend because his timing is a thing of beauty. Lee can stretch the ball all over the field and just when you start playing the pass… he'll put the burners on and toast you with his feet. Cass has played is some tough games this season, and they didn't draw an easy round 1 match up either. If Cass wants to see round 2, Leeshaun needs to play lights out… and I know he can. Make sure you check out this must see match up tonight!

[player_tooltip player_id='247643' first='Beau' last='Jackson']- Detroit Catholic Central 2025

The Shamrocks of CC have been having a quiet great year so far! But know it‘s playoff time. Lead by some of the toughest seniors in the state the Shamrocks are hungry… and this season they're lead by a young gun at QB. Sophomore, [player_tooltip player_id='247643' first='Beau' last='Jackson'] is starting to come into his own at the perfect time. The 6'3 gun-slinger stands tall in the pocket, throws dimes into tight windows and has a cannon on his deep ball. The 2025 QB is starting to enter talks as one of the top QBs in his class and its time to show the state during the post season. The Shamrocks are without a doubt battled tested this season, with their two losses coming to D2 Title favorites, Warren De La Salle and D1 juggernaut Chippewa Valley. Tonight CC will be tested again as they travel to Dearborn High to face a Pioneer team that means business. [player_tooltip player_id='247643' first='Beau' last='Jackson'] is going to need to play like “Bo Jackson” for his offense tonight if they want to see round 2.
