Edgewater Is Back & Ready To Contend

Coming into last year’s 7A state championship game against national powerhouse St. Thomas Aquinas, nobody was giving the Eagles a shot at keeping the game close against the Raiders. The entire week before the contest in Daytona Beach, this program was told that this is a different stage – and even though they rolled over another state power, Seffner Armwood, there was simply no way that they had a chance. Perhaps they didn’t realize that head coach Cameron Duke has been down this road before – and his lineage in this sport went back decades with some impressive teams, players and coaches.
