Let's take a look...   <a href="https://www.maxpreps.com/athlete/jahvon-butler/1ToE4cZiEemAzfp8ouYFiw/football/stats.htm">[player_tooltip player_id='327715' first='Jahvon' last='Butler']</a> - Bleckley County   Still one of the more underrated backs in the state, Butler is coming off a tremendous junior season last year where he rushed for just under 1,500 yards and he's dominated this season as a senior as well. Another tough, physical back who knows how to run, Butler knows how to break tackles consistently and wear down a defense. The dynamic 5-foot-10 205-pounder has been tough to handle for any defense this year as he's rushed for 798 yards through seven games on 105 carries. He's rushed for at least 98 yards in six of seven games this year and is averaging 114 yards per game. He's also averaging an excellent 7.6 yards per carry this year. He's been a touchdown machine on the ground, rushing for 13 total touchdowns so far this year. He's a back who can play at the next level somewhere, and he's proving that this fall.   <a href="https://www.maxpreps.com/athlete/jaquan-bentley/iuIPxOxPEeqAzqREozo6lw/football/stats.htm">Ja'quan Bentley</a> - Upson Lee   A tough junior back who knows how to break tackles, the Upson-Lee standout is a strong back who runs with patience and has some shiftiness to his game. The Middle Georgia back out of Thomaston has a lean frame at 6-foot-1 170-pounds and has run very well so far this fall. It's been a tough year for the Knights overall, but Bentley has been a consistent rusher for the offense. He's rushed for at least 80 yards in every game but once so far this year and is averaging 120 yards per game through the first six games of the season. In total, Bentley has rushed for 719 yards on 106 carries and five touchdowns. He's also averaging a respectful 6.8 yards per carry. His best game of the season came against Haralson County where he took off for 213 yards and two touchdowns, giving Upson-Lee their first win of the season.   <a href="https://www.maxpreps.com/athlete/keondre-glover/mCz2fRGqqESSDRllCrbfJA/football/stats.htm">Keondre Glover</a> - Stratford Academy   One of the more underrated backs in Middle Georgia, Glover is a natural runner with patience, burst, and big-play ability. He's a big play waiting to happen and is looking to score every time he has the ball. He's been a consistent weapon for the Eagles not only as a runner, but as a receiver out of the backfield as well. A slipper runner that knows how to naturally elude defenders, Glover has rushed for over 100 yards in six games this year, averaging an excellent 126 yards per game and 10 yards per carry. As a senior this fall, the Macon native has rushed 88 times through seven games for 884 yards and 15 touchdowns. He's also caught seven passes for 136 yards and three more scores. He's been one of the more productive backs in Macon so far this year and playing excellent football right now. Glover has rushed for over 125 yards in each of the last three games along with 8 touchdowns. He's a true under the radar back to know about.   <a href="https://www.maxpreps.com/athlete/germivy-tucker/CgHpIKrtEemA0ZFtwg1OMQ/football/stats.htm">Germivy Tucker</a> - Johnson County   A shorter, explosive back out of Johnson County, Tucker is a small-town back having an excellent season this year. He changes directions well, he shows great burst, and knows how to fly past defenses once he's through the line of scrimmage. He runs hard for his size, slips through tackles, and can score from anywhere on the field. He's run through every defense so far this year, rushing for at least 125 yards in every game this year. He's averaging an outstanding 176 yards per game and looks like he'll be torching opposing defenses for the rest of the season. He's rushed just 96 times this season for 884 yards, averaging an impressive 9.2 yards per carry. He's also scored 13 touchdowns on the season, showing why he's been one of the best and most productive backs in Middle Georgia this year.
