Some of these targets are athletes that have been ranked in their positions for months to even years in our database. While some athletes are well known prospects with multiple offers, some targets are under the radar to most programs. Marshall did their homework on MD’s athletes, let’s take a look at who they are trying to bring into Huntington, WV.
Riley is DB out of PG County power Charles H. Flowers, who has been seen as supporting cast on this dominating defense but his starting to make a name for himself. He has some serious speed and is still building on it, clocking a 48s 400-meter dash as a sophomore and gaining national honors. He can cover and support the run sideline to sideline with his speed. He comes down to make plays on the ball and make sure tackles, he’s already put a forced fumble in his stat sheet this year.
Peypey Nelson
Pay Nelson is a very talented young RB at WCAC power Good Counsel, Pey has been getting touches on Varsity as a freshman and is already acclimated to the game speed. He’s a weapon in the rushing and receiving game, Marshall has their eyes on the #1 RB in the class of 2025.
Marshall offers the nationally ranked DL prospect out of Quince Orchard who is still yet to give up any points to an opponent this season. Harvey is an absolute best off of the edge and even contributes on the offensive side of the ball, racking up a few receptions. His ceiling is very high, any school would be lucky to land this impact athlete.
French is a young veteran who has plenty of reps on a high level, previously starting Quarterback at VA power Life Christian Academy. He’s currently playing at St. John’s in DC distributing the ball to their playmakers, showing off his arm talent, and smart decision making. He takes the easy passes giving his teammates space and opportunity to make plays. French will develop into a great prospect if not already one of the best in his class. At 6’3 200lbs he has a great frame to build around for the next few years, keep an eye on SJC’s quarterback room. Marshall has the right idea getting to this prospect early in his recruiting journey.
Herb Gray Herb Gray 6'5" | 240 lbs | DL C.H. Flowers | 2024 State MD is a 6’5 245lbd defensive athlete. He lines up at DT and DE and has the athleticism to chase down plays and blow through the line with ease. Marshall is his very first offer and definitely won’t be his last. Gray is a big part of the interior defense at Flowers.
