Oregon Week 6 Point Spreads + Top Games

#8 South Medford (5-0) @ #1 Sheldon (5-0)   SHEL -10.5   South has the potential of making a legit run come playoff time. The Irish have their best team in years led by D1 QB [player_tooltip player_id='110187' first='Brock' last='Thomas'], and a line which is playing as well as anyone in the state. [player_tooltip player_id='206761' first='Andrew' last='Walker'] has been a problem for everyone, and junior DE [player_tooltip player_id='152360' first='Gabe' last='Staszak'] has looked legit all season for the Panthers. Expect for this to be a competitive contest.   #2 West Linn (4-1) @ #4 Tualatin (5-0)   WL -7   Tualatin outscored West Linn 84-27 last year. They are two completely different teams this season, but it's worth noting. This will be the battle of the state's top QB's, in WSU commit [player_tooltip player_id='110171' first='Sam' last='Leavitt'] and Idaho commit [player_tooltip player_id='110178' first='Jack' last='Wagner']. Both teams are playing extremely well, with QB play potentially being a huge factor in the outcome.    #3 Jesuit (4-1) @ #14 Westview (1-4)   JES -20.5   Give credit to Westview for battling each week. [player_tooltip player_id='110209' first='Jordan' last='Fisher'] is the real deal but Jesuit will make someone else other than Fisher beat them. 6-4 200-pound Sr. RB [player_tooltip player_id='205822' first='Payton' last='Roth'] has played lights out with the Crusaders beating their last two opponents (Sherwood, Aloha) by a combined score of 106-0.    Gresham (1-3) @ #5 Central Catholic (4-1)  CC -48   CC has a bunch of young talent who should see substantial playing time, with starters done by half at the latest.    #10 Lakeridge (2-3) @ #6 Tigard (5-0)   PICKEM   Lakeridge has a massive advantage from a strength of schedule standpoint but that means nothing in head-to-head matchups. This is a must win for a Pacers team who has struggled to beat top tier opponents. It is equally important for Tigard who hasn't played a top 15 program yet.    Sunset (3-2) @ #7 Mountainside (5-0)   MTSIDE -17.5   This shouldn't be close as the Apollos are down this year, but stranger things have happened. Mountainside has a dominant offensive front and a some of the top underclassmen in the state. Look for the Mavericks to be (7-0) heading into its contest with #3 Jesuit in 2 weeks.   McMinnville (3-2) @ #9 Sherwood (3-2)   SHER -14.5   This could be interesting. The Grizzlies look to be a program on the rise, beating a decent Newberg team by 28 last week. Look for the Bowmen to come out with something to prove after a 42-0 loss to Jesuit at home.    Oregon City (3-2) @ #11 Lake Oswego (3-2)   LO -8   As referenced last week I would not sleep on OC. They played Tigard tough and battled until the end, losing 36-23. Lake O is young and vulnerable and will need to play their "A" game in order to win. Coach Coury is that X factor.    #15 Nelson (3-1) @ #12 Barlow (3-2)   BARL -1   This game has turned into a battle for the #2 seed in the Mt Hood. Both teams are coming off close victories over traditional power Clackamas. Each have some talented young guys who have stepped up, including Barlow freshman Caleb perry, and one of the top QB's in the west for the 2025 class [player_tooltip player_id='285852' first='Avirey' last='Durdahl'].    McNary (0-5) @ #13 South Salem (4-1)    SSAL -25.5   You have to respect McNary's schedule, playing #1 Sheldon, #4 Tualatin, #8 South Medford and #10 Lakeridge to start the year. That said as South is on track to win the CVC.
