Jatarian Ware out of Amory is a 2023 prospect that appears to be in mid-season form, as he should, following last week’s game versus Aberdeen. Ware led the Amory Panthers to a 55-20 win over Aberdeen with an impressive 6 touchdown stat line. In the rivalry widely known as the “A” game, Jatarian was dialed in as a passer, picking out favorable match ups at ease. He completed 16/19 of his passes on the night, and amassed 243 total passing yards with 4 touchdowns through the air. Ware was surely locked in and seeing red last week, because the Senior also added two rushing touchdowns and 75 yards on the ground to his already respectable stat line. This performance from Jatarian is one that Amory isn’t regularly accustomed to, but more of them are on the way if you ask me. I relinquish that sentiment because the Amory Panthers are looking to be a formidable contender out of 3A North. As a run heavy team, it is nice to know that Ware has that type of game in him if need be. This coming week Ware and the Panthers will face district opponent Hatley. A game that they should win handily, and yet another opportunity for Jatarian to go off for monumental performances in back to back weeks.
Kayden Miller | 2023 RB | Greene County | http://www.hudl.com/v/2JMevV
What more can I say about KJ Miller that film doesn’t already blatantly express about his game? Mr. Miller is a guy that has been on my radar all year long, and last week he popped out with yet another exceptional performance in Greene County’s win over Bay High. The explosive back out of Greene County is lightning in a bottle, and a threat to take the ball the distance anytime he touches it. KJ Miller had 181 yards on the ground last week in just 11 rush attempts to propel the Wildcats over Bay High 48-34. Miller was also able to show his versatility as a pass catcher in the screen game; where he accounted for 85 receiving yards on just 4 receptions. Whether it is as a running back, wildcat quarterback, or return specialist, this kid is a problem with the football in space. He is a fearless runner with great balance that is going to make you tackle him. Arm tackles and shoves are not viable remedy for KJ when he is toting the rock. Miller showed why he is considered a sleeper prospect from the 2023 class in last week’s game versus Bay High. Take a look at the highlights from his performance in the link above located in the header.

This is the second week in a row that I have had to come and let the people know about Denym Mitchell Denym Mitchell 6'0" | 170 lbs | DB Madison Central | 2024 State MS out of Madison Central. The 2024 DB is a sure fire lock down corner with quick feet, crisp technique, and exceptional ball skills. Week after week this kid has been tasked with facing some of the best wide outs that the magnolia state has to offer, and week after week he has answered the call. Denym answered the call this time to the tune of allowing zero catches for zero yards on attempts where he was targeted. At this point, the majority of Mitchell’s film is starting to look like teach tape.https://www.hudl.com/video/3/15016784/6339ea91b534d2065466156e He is getting better an better as each game passes on. This week the Jags face a respectable opponent in Clinton. I’m eager to see how Denym performs this week, but check out few of his highlights from last week’s match up versus Grenada in the link up top.
Braylen Williams | 2026 QB | Nettleton | https://access.qwikcut.com/highlights/63371483f7b2ae31a5efb474
I’m sure y’all are growing tired of seeing the name, and he’s probably tired of hearing about this performance. I don’t care though. I would be doing this kid a disservice to not mention his performance from Nettleton’s nail-biting win last week. Braylen Williams had a hand in scoring all 6 of Nettleton’s touchdowns last week in his squad’s 42-41 win over Senatobia. Williams was able to go 26 for 48 passing with 393 yards and 4 touchdowns, and he also had 52 yards rushing and 2 touchdowns on the ground. The double overtime affair was a performance for the books by Nettleton and their freshman QB. Braylen has had several respectable performances leading up to last weeks, as he was able to account for 14 touchdowns in just 4 games. Last week was the performance that will surely set him apart and put him on the map as a redoubtable 2026 QB. Next week Williams and the Tigers face off against the Aberdeen Bulldogs, whom are coming off of a tough loss in a rivalry game. This will be a closely contested match up as the district foes set up to do battle. I expect Williams to have game full of fireworks again, and lead Nettleton to a much needed win to kick off district play!
